Stop in for a cup of coffee

You know, I must admit, growing up I had this image of Vietnam being nothing but a vast jungle with a few huts. My was I wrong.
Right now I'm just happy to be away from the US. Way too much BS going on. I'll be much safer and freedom happier in Viet Nam...
That is so sad too. Not that you feel safer and happier over there, but the fact is probably a true feeling for anyone right about now. And the large amount of BS, man I wish I could go over now haha
Something like that. She strongly believes they are fudging the numbers, blaming every fatality on corona. Because nobody is dying from the flu.

I don’t believe it’s a conspiracy. I do think the Chinese let this escape their weapons lab, accidentally or intentionally, it doesn’t matter. It’s real for sure. that said, the local paper ran an article earlier this week. At this time, each of the last 5 years, we’ve have an average of 42 flu deaths in our county. This year 0. So to me, I look at it as the Covid 19 virus having been around a lot longer than we thought or the tests for flu and Covid 19 turn positive if you have either of them. Doesn’t mean the flu is gone, doesn’t mean Covid isn’t real or that it’s being exaggerated. Either way, it is at this point a fact of life.

Pretty much

I just did a little looking around. Whatever they are doing, they should be the model for the rest of the world to follow. Only a few daily cases. Impressive.

Yup when this first started and they had a few cases and the peoiple they had contact with were locked down and watched 24/7 think she said like a ankle bracelet. Country shut down for a month also hard, no traveling at all you had a few days to stock up. Entry into the country mandatory 14 day quarantine. They enforced it seriously. But remember it is not the USA where that will never happen we would violate some ones trans gender operation schedule!

What makes me nervous anymore isn't the Covid-19 that they have a vaccine for, it's these new mutations I'm hearing about, like in South Africa, who probably got it from Europe. Supposedly more contagious, don't know if current vaccine covers it (it may).

We still cant prove the vaccination is all it is supposed to be either. I hope it is though.

My son just started his last quarter at U of W, has a class about vaccines, they are going over both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, he said it was very interesting already.

My buddy the helicopter pilot is in africa. Last round he was there for 9 months. Im thinking it will be the same as last year, maybe longer.

I saw it maybe three years ago. Nice guy trained him on how to use his distributor machine, has some cool stuff. Hey has a Mopar "taxi" cab really rare, has three doors, two on the pass side like a foue door and one reg long door on the drivers. He said look at it and tell me what is wrong, did not catch it till he told me.

My wife has relatives in PA, want to go to Hershey when we go, car show or something, that museum looks great!
I have never been there really need to. They have a HUGE library if you are a member. Right in Hershey, went past it a bunch of times. Now I have a excuse to go there with the wife, think she would like it also.

A little slow getting moving this morning. Maybe some toast. And a big glass of milk.

So I was talking to my wife’s boss about that. He’s the doctor that owns the practice. I guess he went to China years ago for both Ebola and SARS 1. He said that the mutations in the long run are a good thing. He said viruses are living organisms just like everything else. They mutate to survive. How they survive is by infecting their host. As such, those with weaker systems get sick first, once those are thinned out, they attack stronger and so on and so on. However, they’ll reach a point where the virus has to mutate to remain viable. When a virus mutates, it loses its lethality, to a point. But it becomes more contagious. So the numbers go up, but the percentages of death drop. He said it happened much quicker with Ebola and SARS 1 than Covid 19. But he said that the science of that is holding true.

There was talk about Hersey putting up a war memorial in honor of Richard Winters, did they ever do that?

Same here I am dragging ***!
I’m not, I’m rocking and rolling. I found my missing rear main seal kit. I knew I’d bought it but instead of putting it in the box with all the other engine parts, I’d set it in my filing cabinet :BangHead:.

but I’m in the shop putting together this beast

Started my truck. Yep, to drive to work-300 feet.
I have to go to town later, so it will be by shop.
