Everyone wants a hemi but a modern 3.6 drive train in a Valiant could outrun a 340. The problem is no one makes a "kit" to do this easly.
Who would like to see this???

No there's no kit and NOTHING bolts in. I have a TON of swap info in my build thread.
100% stock tune it runs 14.3s @ ~100mph so far NA with a crap 60ft. iirc that's faster than a stock 340

I have a 3.2 Pentastar in my wife's Jeep Cherokee. It's got less than 40k miles on it, but so far I like it. What kind of mileage do you get in it? What does the car weigh? No there's no kit and NOTHING bolts in. I have a TON of swap info in my build thread.

You’re getting 25-30 mpg and approaching 13’s?No there's no kit and NOTHING bolts in. I have a TON of swap info in my build thread.

Absolutely nothing. You’re getting 25-30 mpg and approaching 13’s?
And what’s the problem?
the least I get in my wife's Cherokee with the 3.2L is 25mpg. Of course that's with an 8spd auto, but you have a 6spd stick, so I think that's not that dissimilar. The big difference might be the weight , that's why I asked. You’re getting 25-30 mpg and approaching 13’s?

Its still not quite 50/50I bet the handling improves a ton with the 3.6 in it.
You'll need mad skills for that swap. 65'

I would love to see a kit or manual on how to put the 3.6L in the early A bodies. After driving a 3.6L Challenger, I was sold on putting one in my '64 Dart Conv.No there's no kit and NOTHING bolts in. I have a TON of swap info in my build thread.

Currently an 8-1/4 with 4.56:1. It was already in the axel when I got it and I thought its help up the low end torque. But with my T5 2.95 1st gear, it makes for a 13.4 overall gear ratio, so 1st gear is pretty much useless. So I'm thinking about stepping down to a 3.91What rear end and gear ratio are you running?
good idea. 3.91 or even 3.55.Currently an 8-1/4 with 4.56:1. It was already in the axel when I got it and I thought its help up the low end torque. But with my T5 2.95 1st gear, it makes for a 13.4 overall gear ratio, so 1st gear is pretty much useless. So I'm thinking about stepping down to a 3.91
