I bet some of you got these little bastards. Skin tags. Little chunks of meat hanging on by a thread on your body. Typically by your neck or under arm. They get snagged on clothing, pinched and just effing hurt. I got a home remedy for ya that just plain works. Clean the area with the skin tag with isopropyl alcohol, cut a small square of duct tape, and cover the skin tag and surrounding skin leaving no way for air to get in. Leave it on for about 7 days. Then peel the duct tape off and check. If it's a small one, it will likely be stuck to the duct tape and not attached to your skin at all. If it's still attached, clean and reapply a square of duct tape for another 7 days. I have done this twice already. Once with a small one on my arm, and just this past week with about an 1/8" one on my neck that was snagging on my T shirt collars. Works great. No pain, they just come off with time and suffocation.

Hope this helps
Matt

Is there a painful way? I like pain. :poke::thumbsup:
sure, just like pulling a tooth.

My Dad tied the string to the door knob of an open door and then slammed the door.
Kids are crazy. LOL

I don't know but I got one of those little bastards on my eye lid that needs to be dealt with. Just a little guy.

Com'on guys, if you catch them early, the root is about the size of a mosquito proboscis, they tear/snip right off. I don't even bother with antiseptic.
Did I tell you how I cured Shingles on my left ankle and down along the inboard sides of the foot? Hah. I got so tired of the pain, I thought nothing could be worse. The patch was growing every week. I went out to the garage and looked around at what chemicals I had, and lined a few of them up.
First up was Varsol/paint thinner. I smeared it on full strength and kept it wet for several minutes, and repeated that several times during the day. Yikes does that burn on red meat.
A few days later, the results were in; a thin layer of skin began to grow over the meat.
I'm so glad that the first-up Varsol did the trick, cuz some of those other chemicals looked to be pretty nasty.
That was in the late 80s, and I haven't seen shingles since. It runs in my Dad's Family.
Skintags are nothing.
But listen-up, Just cuz I don't get infections doesn't mean you can be as casual about breaks in your skin. It seems around here, I am special. I'd like to tell you why that is and how it came to be; but you probably already know it.
Skintags are nothing; snipit, clipit,or ripit, and for you guys, dress it,lol.

These 2 didnt bother me early on. Honestly never realized they were there until they got snagged on clothing. The duct tape works. Wipe the area down, stick the tape over it, wait 7 days.

don’t try this at home kids.
Speaking of which; a few decades ago, I fell down, running on an icy parking lot dislocating the big bone in my left wrist. You could see it was sticking up higher than those around it.
After over a week of treatments, I said to heck with those lettered clowns, and took matters into my own hands, lol.
I sat down at the kitchen table, and laid my wrist on the corner, then covered it with a bath towel. Now don't try this at home kids; in my good hand I had a length of common 2x4 studding about 2ft long and you guessed it, I hauled off and walloped that rebellious bone right back into it's place.
Next morning I went back to work.
skintags ain't nothing.

The dermatologist used surgical scissors for $175 per treatment. I sterilized new nail clippers and the skin around it. Snip it and then bacitracin. Hurts for a minute.
