Stop in for a cup of coffee

He is mad at me, because of the **** some guys here have said about the 66. I am trying to be nice to all, BUT it is my car, and my car deal. It might not have been perfect, BUT I am all right with it. END of story. DAVE did not screw me. Here that Chris? Thanks. Dave is my friend and he is pissed at me. I do not like that. I am fine with the car. NOT perfect but what in life is? End of rant.....

I call him, then his 'staff' calls back at the end of the day to 'relay' the message... I would like to talk to him so I can ask questions as we go...
Has become quite difficult to get any time with an actual Dr. I had an appt last month with my cardiologist. Of near an hour there, might have been with him 5 minutes. Next appointment is a year out with his PA. Not scheduled to see him for 2 years.

It seems that I peaked in my recovery a week ago last Saturday... Ever since then, I've been getting shorter and shorter of breath...

I've been having trouble getting a hold of the doctor that did the procedure on me... I call him, then his 'staff' calls back at the end of the day to 'relay' the message... I would like to talk to him so I can ask questions as we go...

I had a blood test last Wed, but would like to know what that shows/means... How can they tell if I have internal bleeding from a blood draw???? I don't want to go back to the hospital if I don't need to, but if I need to I want to get in there and get this over with so I can get back to work....

All they told me last Friday is my blood hemoglobin is at 8.5 and the doctor is out until Monday... If I feel I need to I can go to the emergency room... I would like to know for sure that I need to go in so I don't go in for nothing.... WTF????

I am now out of breath halfway between walking from my bedroom to my kitchen now... Last Saturday I could go to my mailbox and back and not be half as short of breath.... I even went shopping and walked through the store and only had to take 2 short breaks... This week, I had to take the handicap scooter...
If you have an internal bleed, your platelets could show it. Either way, hopefully they get ya tuned up fast and well. Prayers

Dang Karl sorry to hear. I think if there's a precipitous drop in your hemoglobin from one test to the other, they can tell you have internal bleeding. Normal for a male is 14-16.
Hey, was actually just thinking about you. How’s things in your line of work looking now as things start to unlock?

I think it's time to go back in Karl.

For all to hear, The heads were cracked. Froze. Dave did not know they were cracked. He would have told me if he knew. There was some / a lot of water damage from sitting outside, no back window. No where else for Dave to store it. Issues with the wheels Dave bought, Not his doing. I replaced both heads, already had them, engine is fine now. I replace with the 408 because I wanted to, not forced to. I repainted because I wanted to. Full disclosure . I was pissed about the heads, and said so. There were some parts that Dave sold/ gave away. It was his car. Not happy about that. BUT It was his car. I did not have to buy it back. I did because I wanted it back. So please no more hushed talk about how Dave screwed me. Please.

Since I’ve been singled out in this, I shall respond.

For the record, I am not alone in that thinking, but I also haven’t said much of anything lately thank you very much. Nor was I the only one to pipe up about it.

As your friend, some of us didn’t like what happened to it. We all make mistakes from time to time and don’t always handle things the best ways, but this whole thing was over the top from the word go.

Further, we got plain sick of seeing YOU get what several of us perceived as shafted, combined with the continued arrogance of the one involved and stuff eventually slipped out. Surprised it took almost 2 years to happen.

You are a great guy and what was done to you, whether you agree or not, in several people’s opinions, wasn’t on the full up and up. You may be fine with it, you may be happy with it. And that is your choice as it is your deal as you say. I shall leave it at that.

Life is much to short to harbor anger. Dave is a good guy, we all know that. Thanks,

I hold no grudges. Never have.

I also have no issue calling someone out when warranted. Just as I expect others to do the same to me if I do wrong.

For example, I screwed up with the handling of the rim deal with you myself. I made it right, Ray called me out on it, as he should have. I was in the wrong, but I fixed my mistake and then we worked through it and it hasn’t and won’t happen again.

as you said, no one is perfect, I don’t expect everyone to be. I do expect people to own up to their mistakes and not try to cover them up or down play them.

Who cares? I'll be the first to say 66 ain't my most favorite year PLUS I don't really like the high impact colors on early cars......but your car looks really cool. You're doin a great job on it. Piss on the haters. lol

No one is hating on Tim’s work or his car. Never ever

OK good. lol
Yeah keep reading details are in the next post of tims lol. I’m hating on the condition in which it was returned to Tim. Not what Tim has had to undo or redo. I will further add this, I was publicly blamed by said individual for Tim backing out of buying back originally when I had absolutely zilch, zero, nada involvement in any of it. Matter of fact, I was on the road when it all went down and I was the absolute last to learn about it. So that just makes it that much worse seeing what @Mopar Tim had to deal with.

That said, I’m following OMR’s lead and bowing out. Catch ya at all Carlisle.

Really looking forward to getting the Dart back on the road.....Planning on driving it to Carlisle next year....For real....Wife will probably insist I put it on my trailer....

Not sure if it will rain or not. but decided against paint touch-ups. Got a few bushes trimmed and ran the trimmings through the shredder. Might get a bit more of that done yet...
