Has anybody run pro gears on the street at all?
I have, obviously was told by the sales rep at Strange to not run them but I did and they have been fine. I guess what his warning was that they are softer and so will wear much quicker and ultimately fall out of initial adjustment and become noisy too. I was ok with replacing them on a more frequent basis than regular gear sets if needed be for the extra assurance at the track.
They have been in for a year so far and I would guess 7-800 street miles so far and a few dozen track passes......no issues so far that i'm aware of. Obviously I would think for someone to even consider a pro gear they have a pretty healthy ride so I doubt that you would see 5 or 10 thousand miles a year on them. I even know of a friend that ran them for drag week and didn't have any issues either. How many miles did you get out of them?

Are they already set up in a rear end? If not I wouldn't order one for a typical 10 second street/strip deal.

There we go now, Don!! Now we're talkin'!!going to this S60 will make me more likely to put bigger headers on it, and likely a Victor as well. Wouldn't have considered those upgrades with the 8.75

I’d rather change gears than break them.
