Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nope. Hard pass on that one. For me no project or convertible. This is the one I was talking about from out east.

AND then I woke up!! Do not need another car!! But it looks like a bargain...
:rofl: Me too. I only have rented space for 2 but I can sell one or the other (or both) to make room. I am getting to the point I don need 2 cars. Heck, I don't drive either that much. A nice 64 Dodge like the white one above may be my last car.

For sure if I did not have the 66 Satellite waiting to be restored, I would buy this 64. I might still . Looks like an easy flip.

You deserve that respect. Not enough of that sort of thing around now days.
Meh. I’m slowly coming around on the first part. The second sentence I fully agree with. It’s something I struggle with at times, really ever since my unit didn’t fully make it home in one piece in 08. But I’ve decided to come up with a plan that hopefully will honor my fallen team and help me handle these days better.

I’m dying to find a 64 sport fury like the one my grandparents had

The vid is a bit slow....or maybe I'm just impatient. I can understand him not liking the wider front track vs the rear but swapping out the rear is a lot of work vs swapping some wider wheels with a little more negative offset....unless he's looking to swap out the 8 1/4 or 7 1/4 for an 8 3/4. He may have said that in the vid but I didn't make it that far.
The factory 7.25 has held up well to the low dollar 318 abuse for the past few years. Going to add a little more power so I think our borrowed time with the 7.25 has been used up, time for the 8.75 - B-body for the extra width and low cost.

I'm pretty sure one of the resident DC-10 Borate Bombers fleed the scene last night about midnight. Commercial flights are generally done by 8pm. Those Borate guys are the only campers over there at the airport that can rattle the windows like that.
I hope we don't have more of SoCal blazing away today.

I know. I was as well, gave up looking. Bought the 66 instead...
I won’t. I’ve found a couple somewhat within driving range for between 20-35k. But the color is what is tripping me up.

I have done a couple or 3 diff swaps, i dont think its that much work. About the same amount of time to overhaul a diff if its not blowed up. I have a buddy that does my driveshaft work, cheap.

My grand parents had a mid 60s Polara. Even as a 10 yr old I just couldn't wrap my head around that push button shifter mechanism looking just like the heater/AC controls
64 Sport fury had a floor shifter, cable actuated.
