Well, engine ready to pop out. Think hood can stay on, 36” from hood to rad support. Think it is 30”. Just need to get the transmission blocked up.
Im moving slow today.

Avoid inflammatory foods....so diet matters... Stretching and post-work/workout ice is nice. I wear a neoprene sleeve or wrap to sorta "hold things together" when I do dumbell or kettlebell workouts.

Oh...and don't do a lot of physical activity and grow old :D

And here I thought Bersa was a pistol!

Orthopedics wants a consult and evaluation with treatment plan. So, if that is the case, I am going back to McKenzie (Green Bay Packers Orthipedic who repaired my shoulder) tomorrow AM..

454-ectomy a success!
Tomorrow it goes to builder. Car goes into his enclosed trailer and its gone until engine gets done. Hope it happens early tomorrow, i have other work booked.

I paid to have a 454 R&R'd from a tool truck. Best money I ever spent.

Jumping in here to say hello, take a picture then do some back reading

Good call on the sports ortho..... others are predisposed to a solution based on what they are familiar with. I've had issues with doctors that want to follow a certain protocol based on my age. Non starter.

Hoses hoses. That's me coming up soon...waiting on the lower hose spring.

Took me a second to realize why you had so much space to work with on the right side
I bet  yep, no need for an alternator while checking all my work out, so far so good though, no oil leaks, but they can show there ugly heads anytime

Good evening. Spent the extremely hot day cutting brush with a death blade on a weed eater. Cleared about an acre that way. Terrain is too rough for anything larger

So cooking dinner, I got no idea what I am making, but I know what’s gonna be in it! We call it stuff in a pot! Deer burger(old) with peppers and veggies. May add a little rice or mushroom soup? Not sure yet. And ya can’t cook without a toddy! Apologies for the glass TMM but it was free! Ha!

Ouch. THat hurts!
If you can get past the glass that is a Scottish red ale from a local brewer. It is yummy! Who knows how many hundreds of dollars worth of tools that “free” glass cost me! Jodi just rolls her eyes every time I get something free from my Snap On guy! Apparently she does not believe me when I tell her it was free.

So here goes a PSA on cooking with cast iron, for most part that is all I cook with. The occasional no stick but for most part exclusively cast iron. Now everyone has their own sequence for cleaning but I can assure the one thing we all have in common is no soap. I will post the three phases of the process below.
A: cook whatever you want
B: rinse and scrub with hot water only
C: return pan to stove, heat it up to open metal, dry out any freestanding water.
D: once pan is dry and slightly hot wipe in a dash of olive oil. She is then ready for next meal!
