It's a noodle/ dumpling side dish. GREAT with Jager Schnitzel of Sauerbraten... or Schweinshaxe
Yep and finding an actual Spatzel maker is a pita. The one mom has is from my dads great great parents some how made it thru two world wars, nazi confiscation of silver, and the carpet bombings of Frankfurt.

For all that is good on this planet, never ever take the sliding door apart in a ‘15 and up caravan. What a pain in the *** to put back together. Neighbour tried to fix it, and showed up with door removed and in pieces. I got it sorted out. 1 hour after he fought with it for 2 days.

Never actually took one apart or off the vehicle, but have worked on them. Don't even recall what vehicles. They all suck. Usually something loosens and/or something bends. Person continues to slam shut and make worse... Beat, twist, pry, curse, adjust... Not necessarily in that order.

I found out on the late local news last night that the SpaceX Falcon launch today was scheduled for yesterday. The launch commander scrubbed it at T-46 seconds  no reason was given for the abort order. I did see a photo of SLC 4 just before launch time, you could just make out the shape of the Falcon and the launch tower in the fog . For this 5 minutes the visibility here is about 1/2 mile :BangHead:. The 3 years I spent at SLC 6 which is just down the beach from where that Falcon is readying, it could be clear everywhere else on the coast and as soon as you drove in the Surf Gate into South VAFB there was the fog .
