Stop in for a cup of coffee

near 1am and it’s 82F outside. ‘Feels like’ is 87. Thankfully this is the end of this heat wave for us.

Morning all. 2 Sundays to go. Got some good sunset picks though.

What are we reading? Idlin in the driveway? Runnin down the road? A full throttle blast through all the gears?

Hey Rob..

Should have clarified...

Street cruising... maybe 3,000 miles

I own about 700 miles of that. Country road cruising. 45 -55 mph.

Spit balling the rest. Car only had about 2,000 miles put on it in 14 years... might be a lot of idling given the rotted out mufflers I pulled

Then I'm guessing it's probably close. They look a little rich and would be, because the correct way to do a plug read is find a long stretch of road, do a WOT accel through all the gears, cut the ignition off, coast to a stop yank the plugs and read them. So I'm betting they would read just about right. It probably runs good, no?

It's OK... There's been a stronger gas smell under the hood after I shut down and will sometimes take a couple cranks to get going.

New cap, rotor and coil got rid of the hesitation and occasional stall on acceleration from a stop.

Picked up a rebuild kit for the carb... that's next
