:BangHead::BangHead:Nothing like waiting 12 weeks for valve locks to come in… only for them to be the wrong ones

Well then.. Don't order the wrong ones.......:poke::lol:
To be honest, I thought I had. But no, my receipt does say 11/32, 10 degree valve locks. And it is the correct part number. They sent 3/8th, 7 degree

I was watching duddies channel yesterday. I need to make an intro like his with music and the channel name. His looks very pro

I love his 69 dart more door. 4 doors are starting to be seen everywhere
Don't do a long intro. Your first 30 seconds is all you have to grab peoples attention. I found out the hard way.

@dukeboy_318

Chris, if you had to do it again would you do the transmission rebuild yourself or have someone build one for you?
Depends on the cost honesty. I’ve done a couple now and it’s not that bad and the hardest part for me was getting the tail shaft retaining clip off. Just need the right kind of pliers. With the how too guides, it’s really easy to do the rest. I had less than 150 bucks in each of my rebuilds, but

Decided To just go back to the 7 degrees, they’re in stock. So that will help.

Was the transmission functioning when you did the rebuild? Some of the troubleshooting guides indicate a possible rear pump failure so I'm not whether finding parts is possible versus the rebuild kit which seems to be a seals and bearing kinda deal.

I just did it cause I had it out and apart to replace the rooster comb. If you’re gonna have it professionally rebuilt, I’d highly recommend finding a shop that is well versed in the push buttons. They are a different beast all together. A lot of shops won’t touch them

Yeah.. my lot in life is to gravitate toward the obscure.

Found a guy who has a 904 pushbutton core to work off of. He's going to run up an estimate and get back with me :rolleyes:

Not a big deal, just gonna return the retainers and the incorrect locks and get the 7 degree 11/32 set that are showing in stock. Will be more durable on the street anyway

Nice. The newer 904/727’s are probably the easiest transmissions to do. I have done 4 or 5.dont know if #5 works yet. Have to put it in the Barracuda.

He's advertising a stock build for $800 + core and his high-end BB racing trans are around $3,000.

3 year warranty

He's out near Pittsburgh...was that where your guy was @Mopar Tim ?

His handle on here is Dart540
