My question is are the dash frames the same for the two?
I need everything to swap over and be in the same location.
I'm new to A body Barracudas and completely in the dark when it comes to Darts.

I see no reason why you couldn't put a 67 Dart dash from in a 67 Barracuda, not sure why you would want to. The electrical harness will probably be different.
The Dart dash frame is different than the Barracuda, clusters will not swap, must be used with matching frame.

What Alan says. Specifically, I don't think the Dart instrument panel has the big circular plug, since it doesn't have the multi-gauge. And it isn't just a matter of rewiring — the senders are different for gauges and for idiot lights, I believe, so you would have to swap those out, too.

In case George doesn't know, the Dart panel has a large horizontal speedometer and idiot light for oil pressure — the Barracuda has what is called a "rally dash" with a big circular speedometer, a 4-part multi-gauge with oil pressure and temperature, and a small circular bezel for tach or vacuum gauge or clock. The frames would physically interchange, but the instrument panels are completely different.

Thanks for the replies.
I need to replace the dash in my Barracuda.
So far the shipping has killed any chances on the correct dashes that I've found.
I'm looking at a Dart dash frame on ebay. I was leary about it because I wasn't sure if it was the same. I appreciate the confirmation.

Yes, it will bolt in. Yes, you will need the Dart under dash harness AND oil pressure sending unit (everything else is the same). Seems to be going the wrong direction, though. Everybody likes the Barracuda dash better (at least everybody I know). My son's '67 Dart convertible has a '67 Barracuda dash. Is there a problem with your frame or with the gauge bezel/cluster? I have two spare '67 Barracuda frames. I don't think I could come up with a nice cluster, but I have enough parts to build one that would work.

My Barracuda was missing the windshield. Apparently water leaked into the tarps and rotted the dash underneath the dash pad.
When my friend brought it to me in Texas from New Mexico on an open trailer, wind caught the dash pad and exposed the rot.
He didn't know it had been leaking.

Everything is complete. I should be able to swap everything over to a fresh frame.
My bezel is junk, but I plan to change to an AC dash before I'm finished with the car.

I'm definitely interested in your extra parts.

Is your car an A/C car. The reason I ask. If you are going to install after market A/C Classic Auto Air has a kit that uses non-A/C heater controls for unit. But if it is an AC car then the CAA unit will have to have firewall mods done to it.

It's a non A/C car, but I have everything from a '66 383, plus the inner dash A/C box from a '70 Dart and 2 sets of under dash vents. I still have to get other odds and ends.
I'm located near Beaumont, Texas.

The evaporator box motor is bigger in an AC car. The hole in the firewall is a lot larger than a non AC car.

I switched mine from non ac to ac . I have a piece of the ac firewall that I had used as a template to get the holes in the correct position. A few other members have used it also. If you would pay the shipping charges I would be happy to send it to you. Just ask that you return it when you are done.

IMHO

All the senders would be the same.

I have seen a mid year change in part number for a oil sender???? but don't know what year that was.

I sent you a message about a dash frame, but your inbox is full.

This is the message:
Hello, I was wondering what you want for one of the Barracuda dash frames and any ideas on shipping to 77662, Texas?

Thank you, George
