I wonder if he drained the acid and removed the lead?

I'm wondering how many OEM Mopar batteries are hiding in those walls, that some dork restoring a Hemi Cuda would pay $5,000 for.

I knew an old boy that had some radiators stashed worth a ton of money .. he could look at my shoes and tell her I wasn't a numbers matching guy he did my radiator work for like 20 30 bucks a pop

There are probably some really collectible battries in there.

The fact that somebody effectively dovetailed those with standard cinderblocks is both impressive, and a nod to the good old days when most batteries were the same size.

I'd wager most of those are 6 volt.

I was tripping on the size thing. The deal is for what those are worth it to Recycling yard you could buy two to three concrete blocks with every one of them.....actually more than that ,depending on Weight. I think last 12 volt battery I scrapped I got seven bucks for. Maybe 10

Damn, those look like old tar tops. Yeah, you used to be able to rebuild batteries....the good old days.

My dad built a retaining wall back in the early 90's. I was in charge of backfilling with rocks and filling the block with concrete. I put god knows how many old busted slant six and 318 parts in that wall.

I just got quote to add on to my garage. I want to double the size. Its 16x30 I was quoted $29,000

Maybe it has a license plate roof.

This maybe a recent picture but I have seen this done on an old garage built back in the 20s.
