The end is near...

And..... You don't have to appease me. I'm just askin questions. You and I got into a pissin match before on old engine vs. gen 3. I don't give two ***** about your stuff, just like you don't give two shots about my stuff. 20 grand got me 730 horse. I'm guessing at the very least 40 got you your 800 or 900 or whatever it was, if you used mostly new parts. I'm NOT ignorant on what it takes to buy a 400 plus cube W whatever head small block. The math don't jive for me. A possible extra 20 grand for only another 100 to 200 horse? All good in the hood boo boo. I don't have a car for my engine at the moment, so I'll bow out. Otherwise, I would whole heartedly accept your challenge.
Sorry to hear about your car being down and hopefully someone steps up as it sure did get quiet around here once I threw the gauntlet down....LOL

There's that too.....
Seriously????? Come on now.....I try and be nice and respectful but when you guys want to try and dig on me for offering a fair race and you not thinking so is just B.S. If you want to race in a car other than the modern day pigs then you need to race me straight and that is N/A to N/A and i'm over 3200 lbs so I could be giving up almost 200 lbs too depending upon the specs of the other guys car.

It's ok guys.....I guess my challenge to race the baddest N/A LA platform street driven car on this site against multiple variations of the Gen 3 Hemi will end up being unfulfilled.......seems I done scared off all them Gen 3's.....irregardless of what car they are residing in. It's so hard to be humble....LOL LOL LOL

Sold the car it was in. I DO have a car to put it in, but, it's a ways off yet. And I was being nice!

They gonna come back with the "but look how much i weigh" rebuttal......LOL
Well, we have to, becausess.... close 1/4 mile MPH.
the half ton more car is making considerately more power.

I'm working on it.

Well I offered up seven different ways to Sunday options to race what I believe to be the baddest full weight N/A LA platform street driven car on this site against the modern marvel Gen 3 but so far it's just been crickets.......what time is it? Everyone go to bed?

Too many cubic dollars for me. But that's what you want, right? For people to see and agree how rich and powerful you are? No doubt you have a fast car. I won't argue with that. I obviously can't run in the rarified air you must live in, so that makes me less human right? Value only comes from agreeing with you and having millions in the bank, right?

I like the deflection though. Can't agree that the heavy pig of a 5.7 Challenger is faster than a stock 340 Duster so let's start beating our chests and talking about how great we are. Nor that a Scat Pack is faster than anything on your list despite giving up 30-60 CID and carrying 500-800 lbs more weight. You want to claim that new muscle are junk, but then throw the argument that you can't compare two different eras of vehicles when facts are presented.

I like how you kept your challenge to your maximum range, too. 10 mile drive before racing 3 rounds? Kind of makes me wonder if you are afraid it will overheat if you drive it too far.

Thing is your "10 mile range" is a great illustration that not everyone wants the same thing out of a car. I would much rather drive a car from here to there, race you and then drive home (regardless of the outcome of the race) than have something that doesn't see more than 10 miles at a time. I don't want garage art, nor something I sit in for a couple of minutes at a time, nor do I have anything because I want others to give me compliments. I'm glad you do, have fun. But that doesn't sound fun to me.

Somehow it seems that you feel personally attacked that not everyone wants to be like you.

Don't know

You're joking right? You have to be.

All the bluster about having the baddest LA on the site and you haven't even run it down the 1/4 mile?

My junk isn't even built for the 1/4 mile and I have run mine.

all the real men are dying off and all we will have left are weirdo's who are putting POS Gen 3's or the new even bigger POS HurriCrate in the classic mopars......such a shame.
I wonder if that is what was said when guys went from Flathead ford v8's to overhead valve v8's back in the day?
Id rather see someone swapping something I don't care for into a car than playing video games .

You put a lot of thought into that response, lol, hey guy I just threw out 10 miles as a way to show that it's not some unstreetable drag only type car......how far you wanna drive? LOL.....I don't have millions but if I did I would have 100 1972 and earlier muscle cars and zero modern day clunkers in my stable. Seems you have nothing to worry about though as my race/drive offer probably won't happen as all I was told was how much of a trailer queen POS one trick pony I had but yet when I offered up a sweet race against the modern marvel all I got was crickets, LOL, oh well probably for the best......and hate to come off as being arrogant but until someone proves me wrong, LOL, I still believe I have the baddest full weight, street strip car on this site and have offered up to be proven wrong by all the lovers of the platform that I think sucks ***.

Not kidding....mine isn't legal for the 1/4 mile and actually isn't legal for the 1/8th either but tracks are far less stringent on safety rules on an 1/8th mile since the speeds aren't so high.

Not wasting my time to read this whole thread but you’re gonna LOVE the engine I put in my 67 Valiant!

You ever play virtual pinball? It's amazing

My dart sport 360 started as a Slant 6. Now has a hot 360 with the loved/hated 292 purple cam. I would never consider a newer gen engine. Not even a magnum 360. I'm old skool all the way baby!!:steering:

I know you are looking for a Gen III match up, but it doesn’t look like you have any takers. Mine is street legal, registered, insured and driven weekly. If your ever out west, hit me up I wouldn’t mind finding out how hast yours is.

Appreciate the offer but I have no plans to go out west anytime soon. What's the specs on your car?

I'll be pulling my 340 out of my sport ( frame is shot) and leaving it for my son; incase his 360 in his swinger bites the dust one day. I've told him that with the sizeable inheritance that will be coming his way, to look for an estate sale " pristine garage kept beauty" that some old guy kept in his garage and never drove..... And drive the piss out of it....
Are You Adopting a Pair of Mopar Fanatic Carpenters and Painters? Lol, my older Sister/ Wife says "We miss You Pa!"

500ci stroker chassis car, so a little for strip than street, but it has all the features of a street car.
