I miss Sears!
I was needing a tool the other day, and I got to thinking that if Sears was still open, I could have gone there. Then I got a bit nostalgic and started thinking about how much I liked Sears. There was always a great ad in Sunday's paper that had a little bit of everything on sale (specially tools). If they were out of something on sale, they would often upgrade me to the next best item. They had very decent clothing and shoe sections, furniture, mattresses, tools, hardware, a good paint section, and OF COURSE Kenmore appliances and a great tire and car service area. Our Sears had a small cafe where you could get sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc. Plus, I always got good customer service there. The few times I did have a problem, I was always well taken care of.
