Hello,
I'm in the middle of a front drum to disc brake conversion on my '68 GTS.
I'm curious where to mount the adjustable prop valve supplied with the kit.
can anyone post a picture or describe the best location for this.

Thank you

My car has a spot under the car on the drivers side where the rear channel runs that had a residual pressure block (my car was disc/drum). I removed it and swapped in the proportioning valve that I have since removed and just put a splice in for Disc/Disc.

If you car doesn't have this then somewhere past the proportioning valve in the line going to the rear. Whatever works best for you.

Yup. If it's a stand alone adjustable valve it needs to be in the rear brake line behind the distribution or combination valve, which ever your car has. Beyond that it's up the the installer. Putting it somewhere you can get at without too much trouble is a good idea. Some people like to install them so the valve can be adjusted from inside the car, but that's not really necessary unless you want to be able to make adjustments on the fly. For most folks this is a "set it and forget it" type thing, so, I wouldn't do a super hard installation location just to get it so you can reach it from the seat unless you're racing competitively.

I bought a universal bracket on Summit and mounted mine under the master with the adjusting knob easily accessible.

If you want to save yourself the trouble of cutting and flaring brake lines, you can mount it parallel to the distribution block (side by side). You run the rear brake line into the PV instead of into the dist. block, then get a short length of pre-made brake line from the parts store (15-20" or so) and bend it into a loop, connecting the PV to the dist. block opening that is only about 1" away. A small angle bracket tucked under the disc. block screw will give you something to attach it to. It is still reachable from above, just a few inches lower than the position shown in #4.
