Stop in for a cup of coffee

Why not pull the switch and see what it is? Semi easy to do.
The harness end is also an issue. It doesn't clip to the factory dash harness and stay tight. So I thought of just painting the column from Keith and swapping to a Borgeson Ujoint instead of the sloppy factory coupler right away

Morning!
Really cool this morning, not a hot day either.
Did little to nothing yesterday. Dennis is coming today to help work on firebird. Going to clean floor, put down soundproofing and carpet. Then i will cover carpet with plastic.

Got my confirmation, metalworking class is on for saturday. Was planning a trip to a car show, but this is better. Should be a good day.

Was going to fill up the car and a few cans at Sheets. Freaking line was easily a half of a mile. Passed.

BTW.. couldn't get my gun to shoot properly yesterday (high build too thick, 1.7 too small of a tip) and i didn't have reducer.. still got it all shot but it feels like sandpaper.. will knock it down with 400 which i should do anyway, just annoying... :(

BTW.. if any paint guys are in here.. i'm supposed to shoot my red over dark gray but the only primer i could find is almost white.. is there an inexpensive way to tint it? Guys say just throw in some base coat.. yeah but i don't wanna spend $60+ for a quart of black only to use 5 drops :) 2k Urethane prime btw...

Deer, she sent me the picture and its quite more blurred after posting it here
Cool animals but here in michigan they breed like rats.. if we don't kill X amount per year it's actually bad for them (Per the DNR) kind of odd

That’s why i buy my primer from the body shop, they will tint it for me.

Sounds like you don't have any extra paint on the shelf, if you need it I would go to a paint store and by a pint of miss matched paint, anything to get you closer to red, we call it value coat, they sell it anywhere they mix paint, I can buy miss mixed base coat for 20 dollars a quart here, red might be 30.

which isn't helpful :) I work 6am-5pm... this world starts much too late for me and closes too early :) Plus no auto paint places near me :(

well.. i was thinking of adding a bit of the red and doing a quick coat of primer again to darken it once the red shows up.. Seems at that point though i might as well just do a couple of coats of red and hope it isn't too bright :) Not sure how much the primer color will matter on a opaque red if i get good coverage
