The 1971 duster in Missouri, I'm going to contact the owner. I can get ac added for a couple of grand and since it's a 3 speed manual gives me a good reason to swap it for a 4 speed.

Lol, I'll hold my breath.

Adding AC to a non-AC car is gonna be a "couple grand" just in parts, plus the labor to install, and it'll take more than a day. So, adding the AC is gonna be a few grand, at least. Just check ClassicAutoAir or VintageAir, you're not getting a complete system for under $2k. That Duster appears to have a 19" radiator as well, so, that might not work out with the demands of an AC system. Not 100% on that but it looks smaller than the 22" radiators in both of my '71's. Depending on the system used you'll also need pulleys, you have the non AC water pump, and you've got a manual steering car which requires some extra hoops to jump through because most AC cars had power steering, so the tensioner needed with manual steering up isn't common.

Heck, you might need to upgrade the alternator too, since that will be the little one on there with the complete lack of accessories on that Duster!

Dans needs a,MyPillow for his Dreams.
No way anything's going to happen other than another thread.
A/C added couple of grand? Please post who does it for you, the whole board will want that info. A 4 speed your other THREADS say no cars as you can't drive one not in.the cards, lol.
Super Model in passenger's seat too? Is she blonde, brunette, red head?
And the post already quoted where you said no performance parts for Mopars?

I think you read enough here the now after reading you are an expert.
Now you go to cat shows and tell guys my car is on the way. Or in tha shop getting this or that. Now now somewhat more book smart so you no longer say things like my grandad had one just like this but his had the 318 Hemmy with 3 four barrels, and a power glider trans

Dan, here's a car in Oregon. You need to be a member of the group to see it. MOPARS UNLIMITED on the Facebook.

A Space Duster, you don't see those often.

The Tittle was on par with all your threads.
Demand and Supply.
You post (Demand) something worth 2 or 3 times what something needed cost, then want it Supplied.
Then post why it can't or wont be. Even when someone does post one.

It's because of my arthritis, but I was thinking about getting it anyway even though it's a manual transmission. Somebody pointed out that the water pump, radiator and fan would have to be changed because of going to ac

or maybe i'm three racoons in a trenchcoat?

I wouldn't quit my job if I was you.

yarr! another pearl of sea faring wisdom from the first mate!

on a more serious note, i love how you interject these sayings out of context. like, this has no tie in to the conversation being held.

it makes about as much sense as a screen door on a battle ship.

anyway, why would i quit? the job is cush, and the pay isn't bad even with a three way pay split.

high comedy. really smacks of some: i'm not a doctor but i've played one on television.

but like, a background player only. probably the extra that just pushes a gurney by in a throwaway scene.

god i hope not. what with your allergy to torque wrenches and all that.
I'm a highly trained professional, I have everything under control. FYI, I have put in many a ball joint, tie rods and never used a torque wrench. Rear axles I do use a torque wrench. And as I've said before, I worked in different shops over the years and I never saw one mechanic use a torque wrench on wheels. It wasn't until a few years ago that I was told that a torque wrench should be used on wheels. I've always tighten them in a criss cross pattern.
