Hi y'all,

About ready for window installs, but need help on gaskets. Is there a source we mostly like to use? My 74 Dart 2 dr. Special Edition came with a vinyl top, and I'm planning on putting a new one on. I can find front gaskets pretty easy, for about $100, but the rear is confusing, I'm not sure which gasket to order, then I find a site with 2 rear gaskets listed, 1 specifically says for vinyl top cars, and is almost 4x the price!!! $109 for non-vinyl top, $365 for vinyl top cars, is this correct? I don't want leak issues, but $400 for a window gasket seems insane.

I think they're the same. Here's what Dante's lists. There seems to be no differentiation with or without a vinyl top. Call them to be sure. Dante's has great customer service.

And it's cool you're going back with the vinyl top. A lot of people don't. I think it adds some class to it. I do have some advice though. Prep and paint the top just as good as you do the rest of the car if you want it to last.

He has a hardtop, not a sedan so that link would be the wrong gasket! This is the correct gasket: DMPS-6390-WCRDB3861 Mopar Rear Window Gaskets -1967-1976 Dodge Dart 2DR Hdtp, Plymouth Scamp - dantesparts.com
