Windy. Very windy. Not very cold but i wouldnt want to be outside. Snowed a little last night, driving in it wasnt easy. Felt like i had vertigo while i was driving.

Mandatory minimum is test drive with no hood and open headers. Did my buddy’s 70 impaler and the road test was in the evening. He lived 3/4 mile from me, he heard it
Simply a must! I have never put on a new set of headers without doing a victory lap before going any farther with exhaust. Just something about open headers that is visceral!

Morning, just started the coffee.

The last 2 days have been cleaning out the smaller garage.......................mice were getting back in, and acorns were everywhere. :BangHead:

I hate mice :elmer:

I ordered the Ray Barton valve covers yesterday, no script and breathers in both covers. They are at Powdercoat now then they will machine for the breathers. Said it would be a week or two. By that time everything should be finished up with the car and ready to bring her home.

Agree, sticky traps!
I use bucket traps they work very well. I keep one in the compressor room attached to the garage. Just pulled 3 mice out of there the other day. They found a new entry point where the one garage door is it is a slider and doesn't seal great. I put wire mesh on the door bottom and put 2 bucket traps in there.

I use them all year long and add antifreeze in the winter so it doesn't freeze. I buy them from here. Small business family owned and made in USA.............Lots of people have stolen their ideas and tons of Chinese copies.

Cleaning out the garage I made a mess by throwing stuff in the container, now I need to clean that out again. Supposed to be 65 here today and sunny. I also have to spray weed killer and get an early jump on it this year.

Hey @Scott_ 69HemiDart are ya gonna have a coming home celebration for her? Has it even been a year yet? Seems like you guys flew thru the restoration! Super congrats!
Thanks John. I took the car down to NC to pull the engine April 16, 2023, so not even a year yet  No homecoming celebration, but I will take it to NJ for my MIL and my FIL's friends to see it. The first celebration will be Mopars in the Park in Minnesota.

Morning all and welcome to the weekend. Nothing much to report. Yesterday went for another session of Orange class. It's a one-hour exercise cardio class 20 minutes on the treadmill and then on the floor with weighted exercises. The goal is to reach the orange heart rate zone (80-90%) during the exercise and short pause bringing the heart rate down exercise to spike it back and forth. The instructor is an older gal a very motivated driven individual. So, with that then a 45-minute PT session and walking nine holes of golf it was a nice day. Going to focus on some yard work lots to do and just need to get it done.
