I’m loving this valve grinder I picked up.

I tried dressing up a very well used 2.055 Ferrea valve out of an old set of Edelbrock heads my son ran years ago. I bought the recommended white stone and am now grinding with type F transmission fluid and I’m more than happy with the results.

Great machine, does it have the replacement collet/spacer assy., or the original one? I bought the replacement in case, Mine is still OK. I haven't used the white wheel, but it's on the list while I'm doing some service & repair, the brush holders use a choke-spring style wire connection....one of them let loose so..

I’m not sure if it’s the original collet or not but it sure is a pleasure to use compared to my old three tapered ball machine. I may still convert it over to a collet setup but if I do I’m not in a hurry to do it.

Whenever valve finish has been tricky, I just creep up on it & go slow with the handle, using Souix grinding oil.
