1971 Duster with 727 trans, I'll be replacing my rubber insulators (biscuits) with new rubber biscuits (I don't need aluminum or polyurethane biscuits for my driving style). The factory chassis service manual says to position the fan to avoid the upper radiator hose, disconnect the carb and throttle linkages, unbolt the engine mount assemblies (biscuit/bracket assembly) from the engine block and K-member, and raise the motor to remove the assemblies.
Is there anything else clearance wise that I need to be aware of before raising the motor, such as distributor cap, transmission cooling lines to the radiator, floor shifter linkage to trans, etc.? Any other hints or tips? Thanks, Dave
