Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have no idea whats up with alignment shops any more you are not the only one. First thing we used to do was use a clamp type thing and lock the wheel straight then do the alignment. WTF?
Yes for stock steering geometry. This added adjustable drag link was supposed to make the wheel center, it didn't so that's where I'm at. They'll say the alignment is perfect and I'll say not if the wheel isn't centered

What did you use for efi? Seems people have problems of all kinds across all brands. Dennis wants me to set up his firebird with efi, im not happy with any i have been reading about. Also i want to buy the whole deal like a one stop shop.
Frank, when I did it the Mopar was not supported very well. Thus mine is a bit of a hybrid. Mega squirt 3 was fundamentally the platform with Edelbrock manifold corvette coils. Holley fuel delivery.

I hate waiting to call people... the day starts at 6am (as in at work ready to go) i can't call anyone til 10 and some still ***** that it's too early...
I hear that, I used to start 0530 and those same people with "bankers hours" would call me at 5 or 6 pm, long after my 10 hour shift was over, oh brother!

I always thought, if the wheel isn't centered, how do I know the rest of the alignment is done right.

I can say the wheel was pretty straight before the castor shims went in. The shims did help the steering, maybe the alignment was done wrong then like Hoppy said and maybe they did it again when changing the steering gear box and adding adjustable drag link. I'll keep you posted

I own a retail store/repair place.. and i leave at 5pm cause i got tired of going home so late that i didn't do **** all (which i still don't) and people whine about it... i'm here at 6am.... wake up 5 minutes early and drop your **** off. If you even suggest someone would get up slightly earlier they lose their ****...

True, so true.

I am going off what time I was called, so no need to be in a hurry at this point, they dropped the ball on the key delivery, my cyropractor visit is at 10 fifteen this morning, it will have to wait till after that

@Tooljunkie PS when I did the Demon Mopar was much better supported on EFI. Just my own opinion but doing the whole system with one brand is a much better solution. I did the Demon in for the most part all Holley, the tech support was excellent and there is a plethora of forums filled with great tips and solutions. Translated, if I was doing another one I would go all Holley. They are very deep in technical and RnD money, thus a more adaptable easy to use platform. Just my .02 your mileage may vary!

Shoot, I have to bypass my heater core before I go feed the cats. (I'm back doing that for a couple days) Andy isn't home from Cali yet and Emily is at an out of town class for a couple days. May be just a Vice Grip on the heater hose. I'll just McGuiver it for an hour. LOL

WTF !!! Pages loading slow here then this.
