Anybody know of any suppliers of 1/4 window seals for early a wagons other than Australia?

Thanks

What are you working on?
There's two different "early A body" wagon styles- the '60-'62 "Road Toad" Valiants and Lancers, and the '63-'66 Valiants and Darts. Sadly, the answer is the same for each; but it will help in your search to differentiate between the two.
I have not seen them anywhere for quite a while, even from the Australian vendors- most of them that I had on file have gone away, with dead links or abandoned web addresses. Maybe one of our Australian members can shed some light on any availability that they know of.
Your only recourse at this point (that I'm aware of!) is to browse the listings of Metro, Steele, SoftSeal, Precision and the like to come up with a profile from their "bulk seal" listings that closely approximates the original; and make your own. There's still glass shops out there that will do this kind of work for you, too- but they're far and few between. You're on your own in that regard. Best bet is old independent installers that still have a few of us old guys on staff, and are willing to spend a little time fabbing up some seals and installing the glass for you. This used to be somewhat common, but not so much anymore.
And if it was me, I'd have them install the glass too, since any mistakes or damage to the glass will result in another seemingly futile search for the "unobtanium" quarter glass...
Best of luck to you!

Those are super hard to find in any condition.
I would say check with Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts | Classic and Vintage Auto Parts
Or Len Dawson Len Dawson's Deception Pass Motor Parts - NOS Mopar

I have a couple SS trim strips for the rear window, but that is about it.
Len Dawson just got bought out by Rocket Restoration, who is in the process of moving all the inventory to his place. Rocket Resto said they are in the process of getting inquiries switched over to their e mail address, and asked forgiveness if they are slow to reply over the next month or so.

Somebody had the seals the OP needs, but they were in lengths that you have to cut to fit. Supposedly work good, but it has been a while since I saw it and don't remember who! :BangHead:

Yea, some confusion.
Since I had one, "Early" A Body is 1960-1962.
Some will disagree.
Very true, I struggle with that . I always use "Early A as 63-66 and forget about the 1's and 2's. My bad.

That's why it's important for people to state what they're working on, even if they think it's obvious. There can always be variations or even sub-groups of certain cars.

To beat a dead horse......

Those 60 and 61 are very different. 62 was transition year, but not body! Maybe 1st Gen.
63 to 66 are pretty similar, 2nd Gen. Same deal 63 was a transition.
67 to 69, 3rd Gen.
70 to 76, 44 Gen.

Back to regular programming.........

'63-'66 A-body wagon quarter glass gasket exegesis (for those who would rather deal with the relatively minor hassles of shopping out of Australia than deal with the hassles of making their own gaskets and hoping they don't leak much) is here

Thanks Rick.
