I have 15x7 Cragars on the front, 15x8s on the rear. 225/60/15 front tires, 275/60 rears. Small bolt pattern, 7/16 mag type lug nuts front and rear.

Any mods to front end? I know that my fronts are VERY close to touching fenders. Looks great BTW!

Thank you for the info.. one thing I noticed is on summit racing, the specs for the rear 15x7 cragers states they use conical nuts. Yes im still running LH lugs.I’ve had both.
You will need conical acorn nuts on the front and mag nuts for the rear.
You can likely buy the conical 7/16" thread nuts at any tire shop that sells mags or order online at your vendor of choice..
The rear nuts I might even still have some left from my Cragar’s days too. Is your car all right hand thread or do you still have some left hand thread too?
this whole scenario is kind of a pain in the *** because the hex size for a conical/bulge nut is 3/4" and the hex size for the rear nuts will be 11/16". They look slight different when installed as the rears use a shank style with washer but not really noticeable once everything is installed.
Cragar makes the nuts for the rear and are usually available through summit. Part number for right hand thread is A-09005-4 and the left hand thread nuts part number is A-09004-4. They are both only sold in packs of four so you will have extra’s when you’re done but oh well.
I find the washers on the new stock mag nuts for these wheels kinda soft. Avoid over tightening them as the washer will sorta bend a bit around the nut. The old school washers were nice and thick and rigid.
Check wheel tightness often for the first 1-200 miles especially the rears. Eventually they should settle down and stay tight. The front aren’t as much of a concern but it is always good practice to re-torque lugs on new set ups for the first while.
I do have some bags of new shank nuts left over too. If you let me know what you need (right or left hand thread) I’d sell mine.

What size rims you running on front,? ThanksI have 15x7 on rears with totally stock 8 3/4 and factory suspension. Not sure on what backspace is?

Keep in mind 67-69 Barracuda fender wheel opening is smaller than other a-bodies, specially the front lower section.
In my experience, on my 67 Barracuda, with KH disc brakes, it is best to get a backspace >3 and <4.5.
Yes, offset is part of it, but using just backspace works for this discussion.
Once you have the wheels, time to determine the best, or max, tire size.
There are tools for this, and to select the proper wheel size first, but let's stick with, we already have the wheels ordered.
Imo, the greater the bs, the taller/wider the tire.
I originally had Cragars on the front: 14x6 3.75 bs, 215/70/14
I bought Steelies: 15x6 3.75 bs.
Bigger wheel, same offset, so I used tiresize.com to calculate what 15" tire would be the same size as the 14" tire, which was: 215/65/15
So, the 14" wheel/tire occupied the same exact space as the new 15" wheel/tire, and based on that I knew the 15" would not rub anywhere.
I've also had these Cragars on the front without issue: 14x6 3.25 bs 205/70/14
Smaller backspace, stuck out farther, 'smaller' tire.
Here are wheels that did not fit on the front, both rubbed the UCA:
Cragar: 14x6 4 & 1/16th bs
Steelies: 15X7 with a 4.5 bs
I have a set of sbp, 14x6 with 3" bs, and I'm trying to determine what tire, if any, would fit up front.
Anyone with a 14x6 3" bs wheel up front on a 67-69 Barracuda?

Thanks for the info Matt.. I contacted summit wheels are on back order, really hoping to have the on car for early August so hoping to get tires ordered. In the past I minitubbed a 68 dart and wanted the max tire in there, I remember measuring like you say.. now I just want tires with plenty room and look good lol..Captain Obvious here. Don't know. I have the front wheels/tires off the car now (rebuilding the front suspension) and I've been meaning to measure, but keep forgetting. Maybe today.Is that with the 4.125 bs?

215/65/15 will fit, no room to spare, no need to cut fenders.
I had 15x7 with 4.5 bs on the rear with 255/60/15s. Those tires fit the 7" wheels very well.
I switched to bbp axles and now run 15x8 with 4.5 bs and 275/60/15s.
They fill the wheelwell much better, however, the bbp axle flange is farther out from the bearing by a tiny amount.
But man, those 275s look way more better.
Not sure what axles you have, sbp or bbp.
Imo Cooper Cobras are a great tire.

The 215’s are one good inch taller than 205/70/14. Plus your rims will be 1/2 wider and the backspace not quite as much as oem. All this pushes it out and with the extr height the bottom fron corner is your concern. By putting the lower front fender brace in the position that pushes the fender out to the maximum on my old duster I had about 3/8" clearance from the tire to the fender with those Cragar’s and that size tire.Im looking at the cooper cobra tires. Seams like 215 65 15 are my only option. I currently have 215 70 14 on original Steelies that I think are 5.5 not sure on BS , but I have no rubbing issues..
