No sparky…. You don’t need this
I can’t either . But given the fact that happened on the old harness that I found melted and corroded under the dash, I’m guessing that had something to do with it.Still cant figure out what happened to that coil.
Ship it to Fred! @FrodeeAll Im gonna say, is I got a quote... Not sure yet how to proceed, or to recede into a job of learning Body and Paint myself....![]()
I read it. I got nothin. I would go in by the glass, wedge to assist and poke in a wire/coat hanger to attempt to release door. I would also find a forum, join and ask for advice. Googling door panel removal to get an idea how to get in there. I have a feeling there will be destruction.Ask @Tooljunkie he gets more done everyday by noon than most of us get done all week! He works a wide variety of cars.
YikesI'd have been marginally Ok with that.......![]()
Thankful Thursday!!
I hauled a full 1/2 ton load to the dump.I bought a TRW Performance catalog last night. We threw away thousands of dollars of catalogs away at the parts store. Who knew back then that they would be worth money today. Of course, storing a garage full of old catalogs for 50 years doesn't make any sense. @MOPARMITCH

Maybe. I had shut it off and pulled the key. But I also later found that the switch was constantly hot even though the key was out.Only thing I can think of it was powered and the points closed for an extended period of time.
I think Mitch wants to get his car painted soon and I am booked for another year or 2.Ship it to Fred! @Frodee
. Eddy was working on something that required to have the ignition on and he forgot and left the key on. Where is the coil mounted on a VW you ask? Well it's mounted on the fan shroud, right over a good share of all those recently painted stars and stripes. like, agree, couldn't decide. a local parts store did the same thing. it hurt helping toss all those catalogs and manuals in the dumpster.I bought a TRW Performance catalog last night. If you buy a Square D electrical box of course you need their specific breakers!I'm going to do a little wiring today if I can find the right breakers for the electrical box. I ran 12-3 to a double outlet box and I will split the outlets to separate 15a. breakers. It's for Lauren's computer server. I have the box set, the wire strung and today I'll hook it up.
Chris, I need some help.
