Stop in for a cup of coffee

Right?! I’m a bit anxious cause the county requires 5 inspections during construction. Wasn’t bad but now we have a brand new guy they hired from Seattle… I know how this is gonna go
If they write up some jibber jabber like this let me know how you do "The water heater may very well be installed properly" as they hit it

The water heater in the garage is not elevated 18 inches above the garage floor. Elevating the water heater helps prevent potential hazards such as flammable vapors from igniting. It is recommended to contact a qualified plumber to evaluate and repair this issue to ensure safety standards are met. ***Washington state home inspection standards dictate all water heaters regardless of ignition source need to be elevated off the garage floor 18 inches. *** However, this water heater may very well be installed correctly, consult with a plumbing professional for local codes, dictating the installation of this water heater. This inspector is required by Washington state standards to list this water heater as not elevated off the garage floor, even if a plumbing professional states there are no issues with this installation type. We defer to the plumbing professionals knowledge on this subject and local codes.

It's F100 Friday!

Good morning :D

I just read a thread on H2O heaters between an inspector who knows where the WA code came from and it's language, says only a fool inspector would not site it on a report. Tells electricians to just do their job and don't get into the Menusha. So there you have it and that's why I'm moving out of the Menusha lol!

I'll hafta make a run to town and see how the collection of those F100s is going. I think the event actually begins today, but there were a few there yesterday. Directly across the street from where that photo was taken is one of the High Schools, where tomorrow they are having their own car show.

Drag racing class (or club).

In High School.

Man! We don’t even have “shop” in our HS!

I gotta wonder if my Brat ever had any interactions with the Drag Racers at SMHS. I'm sure most of her schoolmates were driving Nissans, Yotas, Pintos, just whatever was cheap to give your kid to get to school in and she was driving Charlie the '72 Swinger

Morning, very smoky here today, Stoner creek fire really blew up. It's now close to 8000 acres with zero containment and 7 miles from the town of Rico.
Inside with my coffee, can't stay outside long as your lungs start to hurt.

Purge valve replacement on my Colorado. I wish I was closer to Mitch so we could put it on the hoist. Jack up the drivers front, remove the wheel and the inner fender liner and it's is screwed to the side of the block under the intake, so they say.

Mesa Verde fire is 70 % contained and the Southern Ute tribe are going in to see if some of the more remote sites have any damage or still there.
