After working for 49 years. I have retired and finally getting around to working on my 1974 Dart Sport 360, that I purchased new in April 1974. I still have it. Everything still works. Driven occasionally on nice days here in Michigan. I'll try to get around to posting a pic as soon as I figure out that part of this site. I stumbled onto this site by accident. Sounded interesting. So, I signed up. Hopefully I can get some questions answered about the wiper arm bushing replacement for the Dart.

Welcome. Its great that you've owned and driven the car since new! About to start collecting social security myself!

I've had a 74 Dart Sport 360, and two 75 Dart Sports, one 360, and one born a slant but transplanted to a 360, along with about 20 other Darts, mostly 1970s.

I've made some upgrades from stock to the vehicle over the years. A good friend gave me a 68' 340 block with the steel crank. I built that over the span of a couple of years. A garage project as I got some extra money. Mild street. After I got that topped off. I pulled the original 360 and dropped that 340 in the bay. After adding a loose converter. Also removed the 8 1/4" drum to drum differential housing. Installed an 8 3/4" drum to drum housing and added a 3.91 sure grip gear set. Another gift from a good friend. After obtaining a set of A-body sized axles with the 4 1/2" bolt pattern for the 8 3/4" housing. I was able to transfer all of my rear drum brake components from the 8 1/4" housing to the 8 3/4" housing. Man! that woke that car up. Night and Day difference. I still have all the original engine parts that I pulled out as well as the 8 1/4" axle housing with the 2.94 gear set. A real fun driver.

Yeah! 1 owner. Me! Purchased April 19th 1974. Doesn't look like that today. But thats how it was delivered. It was supposed to have the Parchment colored stripe running from the front fender to up and over the roof just past the back window. But it was a " Factory Delete" for whatever reason. Picture taken April 1974

KRO, Welcome! The 360 A-Bodies are amazing! They have lots of Torque, Disc Brakes, Factory front Sway Bar, revised front suspension w/larger Spindles, Electronic Ignition, Large Bolt Pattern Wheels, Full Seat Belts and Safety Beams in the Doors. They are very under rated. You bought a good one years ago.

Looks like brown white half top and white interior. And 360 probably only one like it in existence today.
Actually. the factory color is "Dark Moonstone Metallic". Paint code KL8. The interior color and vinyl roof top is "Parchment". 360 4bbl auto shift / console.
