Stop in for a cup of coffee

I try not to judge other people's cars if they restore them and not a body man, but when you take your car to a body shop to be fixed and pay to have it done right then it should be done right. I can only do the best I can and hope it turns out good. I'm far from being the best but I am half assed good at it.

it makes me insane that my body lines are ****.. i didn't know about non post cars having the quarters move in from doors being slammed over the years.. .and i don't wanna take it apart to fix that...

Good way to fix that is get a porter power and from the tunnel to the top of the 1/4 panels and give it a good push.

yup... i never knew that was a thing til bout a month after my interior was in... I spent hours trying to line up the doors literally saying "holy ****.. the door radius doesn't even match.. they didn't give a **** in 62"

And the drivers hinge was totally screwed so he was slamming it for sure

Can see the top of the door out a bit there... And of course i gave away my portapower years ago cause i will never need it :)

I had a hell of a time lining up everything on this 63 Fury but is now presentable. Big hammer helps.

yeah..that.. plus my fenders got squished in shipping... i hammered them back into a shape that fits the car... i can't get the decklid to sit straight
literally not a single gap is near right on my car.. makes me nuts :)

My sister is like.. why are you worried bout it? Cause it's the first thing me and every car guy will look at :)

Working on the 63 doing the lower 1/4 on the left side and rocker, filling in the spots that was welded and smoothing them off from being warped from the heat of welding it together. Only way it would show is if someone climbed under the car or if it was on a hoist. I'm picky I guess but seen so many cars that have been restored and never finished right on the underside. Slow going but getting there.
Had a 67 mustang here, looks like floor was removed with an axe. It looked horrible from underneath. Another mustang was redone from stem to stern and a guy would never know.
And i agree, the parts that are out of sight rarely get the proper attention.

I ordered a small steak Stromboli, and small order of fries . This is half the fries, and half the Stromboli.

And the first place for rust to take over if not done right.

Man, besides the rapid weight loss and not being able to eat certain foods, I’ve lost my entire tolerance to anything about 75 degrees. Starting to get concerned but doc swears it’s normal

Always welcome here Chris. But Like I said before I'm half assed and still learning.
Better than me… I’m zero assed and failed miserably the last time I played with bondo

That's like me doing mechanic work and mostly on a diesel engine.
Speaking of, I’m still stumped with this Cummins. Though I’m reading online bad battery cables could be the culprit or a bad computer.
