My car is like me. Seems normal from a distance, but can be nasty at closer range. You can only tell my car is repaired if you look at it
I try not to judge other people's cars if they restore them and not a body man, but when you take your car to a body shop to be fixed and pay to have it done right then it should be done right. I can only do the best I can and hope it turns out good. I'm far from being the best but I am half assed good at it.![]()
Looking good Eric.

Good way to fix that is get a porter power and from the tunnel to the top of the 1/4 panels and give it a good push.it makes me insane that my body lines are ****.. i didn't know about non post cars having the quarters move in from doors being slammed over the years.. .and i don't wanna take it apart to fix that...

I had a hell of a time lining up everything on this 63 Fury but is now presentable. Big hammer helps.yup... i never knew that was a thing til bout a monther after my interior was in... I spent hours trying to line up the doors literally saying "holy ****.. the door radius doesn't even match.. they didn't give a **** in 62"
And the drivers hinge was totally screwed so he was slamming it for sure
That's not bad Ice it looks good, and I bet like you said they never lined up from the factory. Can see the top of the door out a bit there... And of course i gave away my portapower years ago cause i will never need it

Had a 67 mustang here, looks like floor was removed with an axe. It looked horrible from underneath. Another mustang was redone from stem to stern and a guy would never know.Working on the 63 doing the lower 1/4 on the left side and rocker, filling in the spots that was welded and smoothing them off from being warped from the heat of welding it together. Only way it would show is if someone climbed under the car or if it was on a hoist. I'm picky I guess but seen so many cars that have been restored and never finished right on the underside. Slow going but getting there.
Looks tasty, scoot your butt over Ray I'm taking over your meal..I ordered a small steak Stromboli, and small order of fries . This is half the fries, and half the Stromboli.

And the first place for rust to take over if not done right.Had a 67 mustang here, looks like floor was removed with an axe. It looked horrible from underneath. Another mustang was redone from stem to stern and a guy would never know.
And i agree, the parts that are out of sight rarely get the proper attention.
It's only half. The rest is yours.Looks tasty, scoot your butt over Ray I'm taking over your meal..![]()
I’m about to take a vacation and fly out to the Fred school of body workDone. I'll epoxy prime and do a few coats of primer to get it smooth and seam seal it up before paint.

Always welcome here Chris. But Like I said before I'm half assed and still learning.I’m about to take a vacation and fly out to the Fred school of body work
Better than me… I’m zero assed and failed miserably the last time I played with bondoAlways welcome here Chris. But Like I said before I'm half assed and still learning.
That's like me doing mechanic work and mostly on a diesel engine.Better than me… I’m zero assed and failed miserably the last time I played with bondo
Speaking of, I’m still stumped with this Cummins. Though I’m reading online bad battery cables could be the culprit or a bad computer. That's like me doing mechanic work and mostly on a diesel engine.
That’s a lot of chow!I ordered a small steak Stromboli, and small order of fries . This is half the fries, and half the Stromboli.
