I did something like that when it was 50's out. I woke up next to an ice cube. 60's is the limit of open windows at night...and day.That is the temp in my house outside was 39*. I had some windows open.

I have no problem piling the blankets one. The extra weight is comforting. However, the spousal unit does not like all that weight but does need layers to stay warm. She will exercise for two hours and come home frozen. I get out of bed, walk to the kitchen and it feels like I've been working- warm and ready for a cool breeze. Nice cool breeze blowing in the windows now, I should roll back into bed with an extra blanket on and enjoy it but the yard needs cutting before it rains again.
Same here, load up the fridge with food and pay a friends teen age kid to stay in the house.
I slept well and your right about getting out of bed.

Well, boys, we got three engines out, we got more holes in us than a horse trader's mule, the radio is gone and we're leaking fuel and if we was flying any lower why we'd need sleigh bells on this thing... but we got one little budge on them Rooskies. the windows are open now and she works from home. no window open in the "office". I'll go in there and she will have on three long sleeve layers and a hooded jacket. I'm sitting in front of an open window in a short sleeved t-shirt with jeans and my legs are starting to glow. Better get outside and enjoy the coolness. oh yeah, and cut the grass.
