Hi guys,
No car show tonight, not keen on going out and freezing my butt off.
But I will be out early tomorrow for this fly-in car show at a small airport east of here.
I'll take some pictures for sure and post them.
Some truth to this

I've had the heat on in the house and garage for the last few days and now the weatherman just put out a frost warning for tonight.

Thanks for the warning still got tomatoes and cucs in the garden. Although almost done, but vine ripened tomatoes are the best. Zucchini exploded this year had wheel barrels full gave most of them away. Just potatoes, beets, carrots left we leave them in the ground until the last possible second go so far as to hill dirt over so tops don’t get frozen. Then into 20 litre pails with sand for storage.

It’s never too early to buy next year’s derby car. 1963 Mercury Monterey. Our neighbor will be buying parts off of it for his 2 door. This came from California

If your tomatoes are green simply put them into a brown bag and seal it up. The gasses inside will ripen them up in a few days.
Morning guys.
Not going to the car show today. Been feeling rough all day yesterday and today as well so best I stay home.
May have some rain also but says 40% chance.
Show starts at 9:30 am till 2.
Hope you have a better day than I'm having.

Good morning guys, got a good frost last night.
Can’t “like” that one Fred! Still too early in the season, and I have too much work to do before winter sets in.

Geese around here are gathering together, though…..and good riddance to ‘em! Nothing but flying rats, as far as I’m concerned.

Gease can sure destroy a crop in a hurry and they **** all over the place..
one thing I do like about winter is no birds and most of all the damn fly's are gone.
OK I'm done complaining for now..

Hi guys.
Well it did rain here a couple of times but friends that went to the fly-in said it was really good.
I'll definitely go next year.
I thought you'd find this interesting.
When we were in Edinburgh in Scotland, we went to the famous castle there.
It's an amazing place.
There is a very old cannon there called "The Mons Meg"
As you can see from the picture it has quite the barrel and the shot are huge.
It used to be pulled into battle and one shot would blast right through a wall of a castle.
It's now a museum piece never to be fired again.
They do fire off a modern cannon off at 1pm though. Why not 12 is beyond me.
Can you image the recoil on this beast?

Morning guys.
Looks like the two other pictures didn't open up. I'll repost them.
Bit chilly this morning but my wife put a blanket on the bed last night and was toasty.
Looks fairly good for the week. Maybe rain one day.
Some of the car shows are coming to an end now. Hate when that happens.
Have a great day

I know that feeling too. When we moved to Belleville On so our daughter could go to the school for the deaf. I was able to keep my 340 Duster for a couple of years but the wages we awful at that time and had to sell it to buy a new used family car. I had a big lump in my throat when it was leaving on the ramp truck.
I still know where it is though but changed a whole lot. Now it has a healthy 440 and tubed with a 4 link and painted black

Just finished installing a bathroom fan in my FIL’s house which my son is living in. What a f……… job. 12 hours of work, fishing wire wire etc. etc. but installed, works great. Like I told my son “had fun swearing “. He burst out roaring. I Need those kind of disruptions to get me off my *** and do something.

I can do wring it's the fishing it through the hole I have a hard time with. My kids know better than ask me about working on their house, I'm not really good at it.
