50 x 70. Building was there when we bought the place. I added the floor and led lights. A torpedo heater warms it up in the winter. Semi retiring this winter so I can get some stuff done while my hands still work.

Dang! Nice set-up!I bought my place back in 96 with this existing 30x72 cinder block shop. Built the metal shop later in 08 and breezeway for outdoor lift. All for mopar work.

Check your local codes for a minimum on the general floor, and if you're going to install a hoist check the manufacturer's specs for the recommended thickness they want under their supports for weight and anchoring. You may need to have some sections thicker or deeper in certain areas.
4.5 min for a lift
I did 6 with rerod and now I never have to worry. My lift is mobile so I can put it anywhere without the floor being a concern.

Yep,,my floor is 6 inches with rebar mat .
My ramp and drive to it is between 6-8 in most places with a rebar mat in it as well
Where it meets the shop floor it is about 12 inches thick to keep it strong .
I have 85 yards of concrete in all the area together,,,,man,,I think I went overboard on it .

Think it depends on what's under your floor
Mine is solid sandstone
They were out there for a couple of days with a big jackhammer on a big excavator to make a flat spot for my home shop
The in ground was an after thought
My guy spent a day in the pole barn with a mini excavator with a jackhammer to dig a eight foot hole
He said he couldn't hear for 2 days after
But don't think its going anywhere

Dam that’s some really nice set up! I think I spent more time jockeying rolling lifting it by hand on my knees and pushing my car than restoring it lol

Lots of great shops here. Big or small, they feel great when you finally get one, and usually feel too small no matter the size. Here's my first shop (a 1 car carport) in 1984 and my current one which I wish was just 4 or 5 feet bigger in every direction and 2 feet taller. I'll probably have the perfect setup just in time to die. LOL I finally just got hot water installed for my shop bathroom today and it feels glorious to have!

not much i didn't do to it in the last nine years ....but not much left to do ...parking lot would be the big one
and if or when i replace the curved window
need to take a couple of days and clean organize everything hard to do when booked out two weeks all the time
