That sounds like fun. Any idea how many in the group?I actually have to tow the D100. I will not be driving it out. My chick didn’t want to drive the motorhome out alone and I couldn’t convince any of my friends to do it. So look for this….

I know I know. But I have to get the motor home and the D100 there. It is what it is.TOW it? Absolutely not. After all the grief about “drive your car” from you.![]()

The last few years I’d say 30-50 cars make the drive together. That sounds like fun. Any idea how many in the group?
The trip to Tucson in a hot rod with the whole group is a damn good time. We stop for lunch in Blythe, but mostly just cannonball it.Driving to and from the track is fun.
But each and every time I've blown something up, I was glad I had used the trailer.
Is it weird that I want to see the camper on the trailer BEHIND the D100?

Yea you should have.Late to the game. Should have planned from when you first told me. Cant do **** all anyway. Sounds like a blast
I even have an extra bed in the motorhome with your name on it. And lots of extra food. Btw my chick is cooking for all 10 of us that are going, she’s an awesome cook, and big props to her.$500 in flights to tailgate the weekend? It’s a great event. Kinda roadkill esq. everyone is incredibly nice and happy to be at the track. It’s probably my favorite automotive event that I attend. Only comparable to speed week in bonneville. But a completely different vibe. That always sounds like a cool event, but it's a long, long ways from me...
My whole car hobby has been roadkill. I was roadkill before there was youtube or internet. So yeah, I dig a "Duct tape Drag" type of event. Infact, Duct Tape only survived the economic crisis 45 years ago because of my Dad! He single-handedly bought enough rolls to pull them through! He thought Duct Tape was Chrome !!It’s a great event. We’re all loaded up and ready to go. Leaving early tomorrow morning.
Staging lanes are packed 4 lanes deep for a 1/2 mile. I’m probably not making a pass tonight it’s time to have a beer the D100 passed tech, has a fresh bottle in it and I’ll get in the lanes tomorrow morning.
