how long are the original shackles supposed to be? previous owner put these long ones on that im not a fan of and i would like to modify them back to stock.

Turn them over and saw him off to the l length you need I think the original ones are approximately five inches. Or you can order originals they're available.

I think i'll just do that it .I looked at the new ones and their pretty expensive

Yeah mine had the same goofy shackles because the springs were wore out. when I bought new spring I turn them over

Cut them off below the third hole replace the bushings and they worked great ever since.
