Looks like fall fling is this coming weekend (Oct 18th). my car wont be there but i will be looking for parts if anyone is bringing anything. mostly looking for a hood at the moment but possibly the lower grille insert. maybe some other random parts.

see you mobsters there!

i'll be in the swap, as per usual. but alas, the big orange D won't be making it this time (brakes) so look for three raccoons in a grey uniform rocking it out in this piece:

swap was bumping, weather wasn't too hot. those who came out for sure got deals!

good to see some of the usual suspects rolling around.

as always CPW puts on a great event.

yeah wasnt too bad. i didnt really go to the show side. mostly wanted to do the swap side. but i did get a good deal on the one part that i was hoping to find. found a hood for my duster for $40. so i came out of there happy.

top has some surface rust, bottom looks brand new. but its super straight and price was perfect.

i somehow managed to escape pretty much unscathed and only spent $200

360 oil pan w/ pick up, 727 torque converter, set of UCA's, LCA's and 10" brake spindles (that the guy made me take), 14" chrome trim rings and a remote driver's mirror.

LOTS of parts, some real good deals rolling around but alas, not a lot of love for early A stuff

Saw a guy with a super nice set of restored early A headlight rings.

People BUY those?
I have a BUNCH of non sway bar LCAs in my stash out back.....
Maybe I need to start a For Sale ad?

Not sure about the shiny headlight buckets also on the table at bottom of picture

i don't know what the overall vibe was in that i only know what i sold and could see who rolled thru my area, but it seemed like even though there was a lot of people and good amount of sellers people didn't seem to be buying much. like i didn't see the usual of people dragging wagons and dolly's full of parts around.

lots of smalls and lots of tire kickers on anything that was spendy.

that dudes stuff was for sure nice, and if i needed any of that it would've been coming home with me no question!
