65 Barrracuda Custom Spinner Wheel Covers?

-
Are these the ones you're talking about RRR? I got these off ebay last year for my 63 Signet with 14" rims. I felt like I was stealing them for $85.

Those will work on an early A-body with 14" wheels. They are specifically made for the small bolt pattern wheels so the log nuts are exposed through the holes in the wheel covers. They were available (and very common) on 67-68 Barracudas. They were also a seldom seen option on the 67-68 Valiant when equipped with 14" wheels.

i was reading a webpage today that broke down some of the details and option for the 65 barracuda. One option was for a set of custom spinner wheel covers. I’ve never seen a barracuda with a set of these installed on them so I gotta ask.

Is anyone running a set of the custom spinners on their barracuda?

Have a set of two I'm sure but not 4.....had them on my 1964 Valiant which they were an option that was carried over to the Cuda.

Those I believe are the best looking hubcaps to be put on ANY of the Pony Cars.....1967/68 Cuda caps.....the 1964/65/66 Cuda caps have the lug nuts that go through as well.....collected all those 67/68 I could find. 1965/66 Cuda caps in 14" are kinda hard to find.

I like the spinners on a valiant! I’m not sure they suite the barracuda to me.
My first 1965 Cuda in 1975 came with 1966/67 Charger spinner hubcaps....looked really good but boy those caps are heavy !

That is my second dream car. 66 charger in dark green.

I love the styling of the car with the full length center console. I also have a soft spot for the fold down rear seats with the drop down security panel.

Hints why I love the 64-66 barracudas. and 66/67 chargers.

With you on that first gen - I prefer the 1967.....had two good changes - the barber shop manager kept his garaged but was a yellow color which wasn't my fave $2500 after his passing and a silver first gen from my paper route which by the time it was for sale I had already bought my first house....

Look at post #23. That's the ones I really want. Really tough to find in 14.
I was able to pickup a set of 14” covers off Facebook marketplace today! The gentleman selling them was going to use them on an 83 Toyota pickup that had 14” wheels.

I’m so glad he decided against putting these on a Toyota!

They are sooo clean.

You go boy! Glad you found some.
Now I just need to located a set of the 14x5.5 wheels!

I legit thought the advertisement on marketplace was a scam. The seller had no personal info on his account to include no profile picture. Plus the price for a complete set of 14” covers had me suspicious.

Well I got some of those but they ain't for sale. lol

Nothing special about the 14.5.5 wheels - good ones are just hard to find.......look for later A bodies up to 1972. The other scary part is the lugs....they were longer than stock and of course left and right. On the caps - 1966 had a different center with the standard Plymouth emblem in the center instead of the Valiant - V.....just keep an eye out for those.....

Could I see a picture of your 14x5.5 wheels? Is there anything special about the wheel that these covers go on or will any mopar 14x5.5 steelie that is the SBP fit?
Here you bees. You can see where my finger is. That extra space there between that first bend and the wheel center is how you tell they are 5.5" wide. The narrower wheels don't have that extra space. Again, they ain't for sale. lol
