Car won’t start until key is turned back to run position

Not sure where else the problem will be since I eliminated all stock parts in the car.
You'll also have to elaborate on this. This could very well be the problem.
You eliminated ALL stock parts? Including what, the ignition switch? The starter relay? Are you running your ignition/starting system off of toggles and a pushbutton start? How exactly did you wire everything to accomplish this?

Okay then-
You either have not connected IGN1 and IGN2 circuits together (and eliminated the ballast), or you have a bad switch or connection somewhere.
Go back to the second post.
Post 23 states I confirmed I have 12v while cranking at the Msd box as well as the ign switch connector. Both ign 1 and ign 2 off of the AAW wire coming out of the bulkhead are tied together and hooked to the 12v MSD box.

Stock ign switch, stock mopar relay up front. My starting system is run off of a ford relay in the trunk, I also have a cut off switch tied into the system as well. I did notice my 12v main power wire for the MSD box was not ran to the starter relay so I am fixing that as we speak.

Welp guys I solved this. My main wire on MSD box was somehow connected to accessory connector under the dash to power seats, I ran the wire to my cut-off switch and now car starts while cranking. Thank you all for any input and helping me out.

And in post 26 you said you don't...
Feed main wire does not have 12v while cranking but does in run position

Ha, that big dummy you know in cali knows something every once in a while. :)

I think the large red wire is supposed to go straight to battery positive. The cutoff switch stud works too.

Good you got it figured out.
