Greetings all. I'm trying to replicate the air bells/velocity stacks used on the Hemi cross ram intakes. If someone with the originals would measure the width at the top, width at the carb base (probably 5 1/8" for modern Eddy carbs), and the height of the bell from base to top flange, I would be eternally grateful. Additionally, if you could take a picture of the bell from the side with a scale for reference, that would be the cherry on top. Please help if you can. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Mopar to ya!

Mancini racing used to sell them.
I have a pair stashed somewhere. …(Not for sale) I will try to take a look tomorrow and post some pics. I can’t find them on their site right now. Maybe give them a call.

'duster, thanks for the response. No, I'm not looking to buy yours, but yes please, pics and measurements would be awesome when you get the chance. Others elsewhere have suggested the shorter of the earlier Max Wedge bells may be the ones used for the Hemi cars but I don't have any confirmation on that. In re: Mancini, A&A Trans also used to sell them many years ago but I don't see them in their catalog currently either. I'll try Mancini on Monday.

My buddy bought a reproduction stack a couple of years ago, I'll try to find out where he got it. This is what you're looking for correct?

Just spoke with Mancini - they no longer sell these and the salesman didn't have any suggestion where to find them. Also sent A&A Trans an email - waiting on a reply from them. A couple people gave me Jerry Stein's name. I spoke with him and he doesn't know of any. Waiting on an email response from Crossram Connection regarding availability and (I'm almost afraid to know) price.

Crossram guy is difficult to contact. Rarely returns emails. My cost for 2 original stacks was over $500 from him. Used to have his cell # but seems it disappeared. Sorry.

From his website, 262-547-5945. Not sure if that is current.

I looked at the site and found CC-229 Race Hemi Velocity Stack Set for Holley Carbs - $425.00. I'm sure there are additional bits and pieces needed. I'll call tomorrow.

I’m pretty sure I paid $500 Mancini like 5 yrs ago.

Just found pic, May 2020

I just took a few pics.
There is a right and left, or front and rear, however you look at it.
The bases are angled and one is short and one tall for engine angle hood alignment.

They are very different than I thought or are these different than the gold ones?

I bought a pair from Mancini about a year ago. Sadly, I am not able to run them on my 1969 Barracuda because they are a tad too tall and they are both touching the inside of the hood scoop. I would run them if I could come up with a way to get the needed clearance.

What intake are you using?

Just got off the phone with Brian at Crossram Connection. He sold out of the Hemi Barracuda/Dart stacks/bells this past Spring and needs to reorder them - won't be available until sometime in 2026. Incidentally, he is the source for Mancini & A&A Trans.
