Why is it not possible to delete your own old ,expired sale adds. Wouldn't that free up more space o the site ???
Inquiring minds want to know !!
Thanks.

Joey probably has unlimited Server Space.

Just think about how many pictures are being uploaded to the site on a daily basis and they are being stored for future access.

Pictures take about 100 times more space than just simple text, and Videos take 1000 times more space than text.

Good idea to have YouTube link the videos to this site.

But yeah, you would think there would be lots of opportunities to Delete old unwanted files from the servers here.

You can mark them SOLD.

Joey does this for a livin yall, so it all revolves around money. The more members he gets, the more gold members he gets. The bigger the sites, the more sponsors are interested. It's simple math. The guy's makin a livin. He's good at it.

Good. Many members don't but the system closes them (not delete) after 30 days of inactivity. ( I believe that's how it works)
If the old threads were deleted by the members or the system it would save some hard drive space but all that information would be lost. I have known many members that inquired to the seller about an old ad and the part was still available. It's also hardy to be able to cut and paste parts of your old ad to fashion a new ad. Much faster to copy what has already been written. Just my take on it.

Kinda funny, when I google up something and my chit pops up.. I do cut and paste from some of my old adds. Just wondering.

I've done an internet search myself only for it to lead here, to a closed for sale ad. It wasn't marked sold. I sent the seller a message and they still had said item and I bought it. It's happened more than once.

Click Bait.. That's all it is. Free for scammers to peruse and steal pics.

That's an awfully negative outlook.

What alternative would you suggest?
