Not familiar with this exact product, but it not a complex product no matter who produces it. It might mean that you need to wipe down the Area that you’re prepping an additional time but I’ve never had a problem with any other prep cleaner and in the past fifty years I’ve used plenty of them.
What I would do is compare the data sheets with other similar products. That should give you a good idea.

I haven't done any body work for 30 years. And even then, I was more of a grunt. I'm trying to do as much prep as I can on my Duster, so someone who knows what they're doing can finish prep and paint it.
Along those lines, do you think 400 wet is what to use to sand the engine compartment and trunk? It's still the original Avocado Gold. I don't know the painter yet. Maybe it's best for him to tell me.
I hate paint work, but I'll do what I can to save some money. Years ago, my race partner and I stripped our car, had a sponsor spray the body, and they we sanded and sprayed the trunk, door jambs, and engine compartment. What a project that was! I have the utmost respect for body men/painters. Maybe the painter I choose will talk me into letting him do all of it. My wife wants me to get it done so I enjoy the car more. I'll have to $ee if $he's ready to $pend, or if she'd rather watch me work.

I used to use "Pre" from Eastwood, but it got really expensive. Now I like This from TCP Global. I really like TCP Global's paint. I have also bought a LOT of other body work supplies and primers from them.

If I was the one painting your car, I would want to be the one prepping it too, or at least have a prepper in the shop do it, cause in the end, its his name on the paint job. When owners do their own vehicles, the majority of time it isnt done correctly, unless under the supervision of the painter. Way back when, I worked in a restoration shop. I was a mechanic, but when things were slow, I'd help out in the body shop. I get what you're saying, though. I wouldn't do anything but sand (no dent repair, priming, etc.), even after talking to him. My problem is finding someone. Years ago, I was fortunate. I worked at a place that did it, and I knew everyone!
A local guy had his Challenger painted a few years back. I have to ask him how it came out, how he liked the shop, etc. The guy has to have the right mindset. This isn't a crash job that needs to be knocked out. And, I don't want it buried in the shop behind other jobs. When it's my turn, I'll bring it in.
There's also a local guy who is a professional, and does side work in his garage, while using the spray both where he works. He's sprayed parts of our daily, and it looks good. But, his personality is coarse (not necessarily a deal breaker), and I don't know a) if he's interested in a bigger job, and b) my car doesn't have an engine.

Wax and grease remover is for wiping down the car before sanding and or starting bodywork. If you wipe down your car to paint with it you will get fisheyes in your paint unless it says you can use it for paint prep. You need something like this.
