I have a piece here I believe is early A.
Anyone know what it is and from what car ?

Unfortunately I Do know what that is.
I threw mine away while replacing my carpet, thought a previous owner had made it:BangHead:
Mine had the clips cut off and was attached with velcro.
I have only seen 1 other picture of a car with one since.
This was on my 65 Dart Gt 4 speed car.
Its a scuff pad that sits between gas pedal and trans hump.

Yup, toe plate/scuff plate. You don't see many because they rarely stayed attached- they're only held on by a couple of bent tabs into the carpet. And they're a royal pain to try to re-install.

OK , I knew I saw something here about this part. It's a carpet protector . Probably your thread !
 
Yup, late 64 and 64 a-body accelerator scuff plate. Hard to find in decent shape especially with attachment tabs intact!
