offset MC adapter and MC

On my dart, i am using the Kelsey hays front disc setup with manual non power brakes. I am needing more room as i am installing bigger heads on it. How does the offset MC adapter work? Wont it put the Pushrod at an angle instead of a straight shot from the pedal to the MC? Also, any secrets on a better MC because i have to stand my 225 pound self on the pedal to stop this thing..yes its manual brakes but i think it ought to be a little easier..This MC was the only one i could find at oreilly that was for manual brakes with disc in front and drum i rear.

I don't have one, but it moves the pedal attachment to the other side of the pedal. Since it's an eylet type its only on one side.

So it would end up on the left side instead of the right.

Not sure what Master Cylinder you have now, but you would want one with a smaller bore. It will increase pedal travel to decrease force though.

the offset kit usually requires you to go to the 2 bolt master cyl.

Im just unsure if the offset will clear the fenderwell headers as shown in the pic above, and if so, will the heat from the close header melt the plastic reservoir of the 2 bolt MC..?
