Stop in for a cup of coffee

Bloodwork and ekg done, pellet stove and diesel heater are running, Avalanche on hoist. Losing interest real quick. Would like the truck to be warm and dry, should have done all this stuff months ago.

They will reach for the moon when they tell you how much money you're going to make. Look at about a 1/4 of what they tell you. Hope it works out for you and you can retire, I highly recommend it.
retirement...in a very simple term.......sucks.....its better to work part time...mind you if the job is hell...its better to leave...but if you still have joy in the job......pt is a better choise....all the fishing, hunting, golfing, puttering in the shop..cutting grass/pushing snow..rv road trips....and honey do list...in my 1.5 cents it does not = real work ......but then my only addiction was a good 12 to 16 hr days work.....

I'm very picky on who I restore cars for because I don't work for free.
This is my last one I'm working on for other than myself.

That was a fun one being an all door. I think we had 1 Maverick at our local drag strip back in the day. I'll be darned if I saved a photo though. A fellow student in Tech School had a 302 4 speed Comet that was quick. Vertical Gate shifter for fun. There is a Comet sitting in a driveway on the way to the Downing house. I see it every time I drive by. It is a 302 car and in pretty good shape. I'm not a Ford fan but if I was looking for a project....... A guy in High School bought a black one. He had Cragar SS's on it second day he owned it. It was a 302 car. (second year of production I believe)
Oswego had a fellow running a 71(?) Comet called 302much. Didn't think the car ran that good when I first saw it or it was written up in Quartermile Countdown. Find out later on, he is quite the Ford guy and quick!

I got Lauren's car dug out and got the snow off the patio. Have to move that twice. The front steps and sidewalk are a turd. The sidewalk is a semicircle, there are 4 steps, a landing, and 6 steps and another landing in front of the door. All if it has to be scooped and thrown to the side. My snow blower ran out of gas and the gas can was over at the Downing house. I took Lauren's car over to retrieve it. Of course I had to wade snow to the garage to get it. While I was there I blew a path to the street and cleaned the sidewalk. I need to go back probably tomorrow to clean the driveway. That's another one where you have to move most of it twice. I haven't dug my pick up out yet either. I almost need to blow out the alley so I can get the truck out. Easier to clean it's parking spot if I can park it in the driveway.

I like doing fiberglass molding because it's relaxing.
BTW making your *** # 5 soon. Takes a long time for stuff to dry and can only do one a day because I'm too lazy to make more molds.
When are you leaving again?

Wife and I were out twice yesterday shoveling. A friend is in the hospital and says he is getting out tomorrow. After having a pacemaker put in, not sure he is going to be up to cleaning all the snow off the car. So, after lunch, I'll be heading out there to clean a bit. Should probably go get his keys to make sure it starts...he's been in there what seems like two weeks now.

Started reviewing the work i have/want to do. About 8 projects. Some are work for money, others are my bucket list. At my present pace, i need another 20 years. Just the few little things i want to do on my avalanche is probably 2 days. I need a coffee. Time to trudge across driveway.

Think it's easier to trim the bushes and mow the grass. :BangHead:

Far from being done with my bucket list but damn I'm going to finish it.
