No to check Phasing on the machine. I have one but have a guy getting stupid with offers on it after he saw it. GM are always around Mopar maybe once every few years.
So is it referred to as a clear distributor cap or something else?
I have always called them just a clear cap. Mr Gasket made them in the early 70's as far as I know.
2 to 4 is a tease.
Same as a standard cap just cool at night. For me I can see how the spark is aligned to a terminal on the full mock up. Old picture with one I drilled out to see the spark.
