I have never actually been on any of the discussion boards before but I when searching ESPO Springs going out of business after someone told me they saw it on here I wanted to respond. We are NOT going out of business but we are 60 and 64 years old and leaf springs are very heavy and bulky and labor intensive. As you've noticed we are 5 months behind now on them and we just can't keep doing this so made the conscious decision to stop before we hurt ourselves. It'll take us years to run out of the inventory we have except for the most popular vehicles which unfortunately covers the A Bodies, B Bodies and E Bodies. The only ones we can still do on them are the small block 5-leaf ones. We are still selling coil springs, shackles, bushings, ubolts and front end parts, just not the leafs as we run out of product. Hope this helps clear things up. We really appreciate all our customers through the years and we are sad to have had to make this decision to give up leafs as they are what we are most known for.

I have a question-

First, thanks for directly addressing the situation here.

and now-

I have a 73 Satellite 318 that i will be using a 72 Charger (400) 8 3/4 axle and hardware in to eliminate the ISO rubbers.

...and I also have a 1967 Belvedere wagon with an 8 3/4.

I'd like both of them to sit as high as possible in the rear without air shocks.
(I think you offered a "+2 1/2" or similar)

Would the same springs work on both?

Do you still have those in stock?

Thanks for responding and setting the record straight. Good luck to you as you sell out and cruise into retirement. You have been (and still are) a banner to the hobby.

The 73 Plymouth Satellite we can still do as long as you are sticking the the original 5-leaf spring. Just make sure if ordering to specify you are eliminating iso rubbers since they are slightly different than a regular 73. You don't say what engine the 67 Wagon has in it so I can't look that up. The highest over stock we do on any vehicles is 2" lift. We are 5 months lead time on any of the springs we can still do.

Thank you for joining the site and for giving us the scoop, right from the source. If this is Mrs. Laura replying, thank you for being the voice on the phone for so many years. You flat out know your stuff, and you're always so nice to talk to. I need to call and see if you've got any 1" over A body springs still in stock. 65 Barracuda V8 and 70 Duster 340 specifically.

Yes this is Laura. You always get me with phones, chats, emails or anything internet. We can still do the 65 Barracuda if doing the standard 5-leaf, if looking for the heavier 6 leaf we can't. The 70 Duster 340 unfortunately we can no longer do. :(
