Hello,

I am replacing the carpet in my 68 GTS. Summit Racing sells OER for $245 shipped. Can anyone weigh in on the quality of OER carpet? Up to this point I have had good experienes with OER products. I've used ACC and was never very impressed with any of the rugs.

Last summer I put an OER carpet in my '70 Dart 4 speed and was not impressed how it fit around the forward tunnel and hump.

I put a new ACC carpet in my Duster this past summer and it fit like a glove. This is the one with the standard insulation and not their mass backing one. I also used their factory sound deadener which I think makes it fit even better..

I used ACC carpet with and without mass backing. I prefer the mass backing, even though it costs quite a bit more in some cases.

Wish I could remember who I bought mine from from.. black.. fit ok.. but turned tan from the sun in a few years time. Total garbage

I too thought that most carpet is ACC. The carpet that I ordered from Legendary, pretty sure it was ACC. Have installed two sets so far. No issues, just make sure in your placement and where you are going when cutting. The long blade snap utility cutters work best. Real effective in slicing fingers too!

I believe that was a problem they resolved. I saw a video some time ago where they said whatever wool type they were using didn't retain the dye very well over time and have fixed that issue. At least I hope so!

In the past I have just shopped for the lowest price including shipping. It was Rock Auto last time, I think.
Often is. Unfortunately they don't carry a lot of restoration parts . However, I did get a great deal on an Autometer tach.
