B Body owners ?

-
A) '68 Barracuda fastback (will have a 440; TREMEC; etc.)
B) '68 GTX (440; 727)
C) '67 New Yorker (440; 727)
E) I gave away a '72 'Cuda (purchased disassembled) when I moved to Texas because of the shipping cost. What an idiot!

I will be taking sone pics as soon as I figure out how to use my new digital camera (I am a self-admitted electron moron) and figure out how to post them. The A, C, and B will be undergoing restification in that order (most likely with much overlap) as soon as I finish the garage/shop interior this summer. I want to fit out the New Yorker for Interstate cruising...so much to do, so little time.

Adam knows I have a late year B body. The last year of them, the forgotten ones that get no respect. LOL. They'll take on all the early year tricks with or without the ISO suspension.

This one is a '79 XE Magnum that I picked up off the 1st owner. I swapped out the 318/904/8-1/4 for a '78 Cordoba's P code 400/727/9-1/4 that was requiped with 3.55's instead of the 3.21 and suregrip equiped it is!

I added Headman headers w/2-1/2 inch exhaust H piped. FBO ignition and a unsilenced air cleaner up top a Carter Comp series 750 that replaced the cracked T-Q.

The car was purchased off the show room floor dressed in GT stripes. (No longer on the car.)

i had a 61 seneca ( is that a b-body or c-body?) and i just got a 64 belvedere..

I like some of those early Senicas and Poineers.

Currently have 3 A's and 2 B's - both are 440 Six Pack/4 speed Dana cars. Used to have a 72 RoadRunner GTX 440 4-speed w/ dana, had to sell it to buy the Superbird.

Where did your bird come from? It didn't spend some time in J.J.'s museum did it?

Cool, a Superbird! My brother still has his Superbird sitting in his garage (with the nose off to fit inside). He bought it 2nd hand in high school in 1973. I keep offering him $100 for the car, but he won't sell.

Bird's never been in a museum - I've owned it since 1984. I wanted the Charger so bad, was driving down to buy it and a friend of mine got there 15 minutes before me. So I bought the bird, and then 4 years later in '88 he got married and the wife said "that black Charger has got to go". So I took it off his hands - wound up with the both of them :)

I had a bird. Sold it in 80. Was gold at the time (I didn't do it) and was missing the wing. I was told it went to JJ's museum within a couple of years of me selling it, then went to the east coast somewhere. This is supposedly a pic of it

I have a '66 Satellite that I've been working on for the last several years.

Well, I just became an A-body owner a year ago. Love the car. Have owned a 69 ModTop satellite for about 4 years (awaiting finding material before resto) and just worked a deal for a 440+6 4-sp super trackpack superbird. Unfortunately I have to sell my 70 challenger for the car but I still have a 71 convert so I'll survive.:-D Don't have a pic of the modtop or bird handy, so here's me after a terrible hot air balloon crash.
