I just seen this post now and did not know my son posted this. But i agree some of you guys are a bunch of assholes.like the mail man comment etc. I don't mind the harmless fun. but i cant believe some of the crap some of you guys were saying. how would you like it if i said that crap to your son or daughter.

OK i guess i failed as a father. Because i thought i trained him better.I gave him the dart for Christmas 2 years ago.But if he wants a mustang i don't have a problem of him owning one I just will not buy him one. if he wants one he can get a job this summer and buy it him self.also the dart in his sig pick is my 73 dart that i bought allmost 2years ago from plant city FL.

I agree that some of it has gone too far, but i think it was all in good fun...atleast, i know i was just joking around:cheers: everybody has there personal preference, and if his is mustangs so be it...i think its just that everyone here doesnt want to see another young one be turned away from the mopars...good luck to him whatever route he goes...my dad trained me mopar, but my brother is die hard chevy- he didnt fail as a father, its just that my brother is an oddball lol...good luck to him with his build if he pursues it

Just to let you guys know. I've thought this was all in fun with 72. I've met both 72 and his dad 65 at MMW and they are mopar guys like us and one of us. So i don't take pictures of my ford i have in the garage everyday or the lincoln in the field but i do own some different stuff. I'm still a Mopar guy to the bone. 72. come on back in here and let em know how much you appriciate their opinions. The 72 i met has tough skin and can handle the action. This is the kind of stuff you tell your girlfriend 72, not us. Just havin fun guys. See ya at MMW.....oh, and go ahead and wear the shirt while driving your fox...I just gota laugh. 65, you've got a good lad there.
 
Okay guys listen.....I will NEVER IN MY LIFE trade a damn 72 dart for A 90s mustang....for one the shape my darts in i could buy 3 fox bodies right now... i meant to put this thread in the funnys thread So i could help get to 500,000 cuz i know you guys would answer to it i wanted to see how you guys would react... it was a joke. but some of you are being straight jerks.......at least im not buying a civic. at least it was american i chose and not sum cheap crap. and my dad has not failed in raising me. ill blow the doors off any civic around. the fact you said ill find a rope and a tree are you refrencing you want to hang me for liking mustangs? if so thats just horrible. your the ones who are actually going to drive me away from liking any cars. i thought this was an escape site from moparts....thats all they did....i thought you guys were better than them....i guess not. but to answer your questions.... I'm not a big fan of "JOKE" Threads for this very reason, people get testy and offended. And what is the point? I would say 99% of the comments made were in good fun so it is what it is. If ya can't take the heat...
 
This thread has spiraled into the ground, everyone on this forum seems to good people from what I've seen while a member, I don't see how anyone joking on this thread could have meant what they said (rope hanging, etc). I saw everything posted on this thread as taking it was a grain of salt. I would hope to think that no one would really wish harm on another person...especially another car person...

That happens to me at car shows too; my class is usually nothing but camaros and a few mustangs; they all look the same only different colors. I think the judges and participant voters get tired of looking at the same cars because I end up pulling trophies away from them...crappy paint job and all.
 
Maybe I've been here to long or maybe I'm just getting old but I took all the responses as joking around especially the hanging one and besides it originated in Australia and they're just weird down there (I'm being funny again Fat-245):-D:-D:-D. Jesus H, what's this world coming to when ya can't even poke fun anymore. You want to see ugly then wait till that little cretan from cali, jason or jordon or Dustbin or whatever his name is, sneaks back on the site.
