340 Dart started the bands threads and I was thinking of this last night as I was listening to "Good Vibrations." What's your top 5 best songs ever list?

1.) Good Vibrations
2.) Baba O'Reilly (Teenage Wasteland)
3.) Paint it Black
4.) All Along the Watch Tower
5.) Magic Carpet Ride

The best song ever written and recorded is "Since I've Been Loving You". Zep did it a bunch of times, the one I like the best is on Mothership.

Find it, play it, crank it up. Then come back here and tell me it's not the greatest thing you've ever heard.

The Anthrax/Public Enemy version of "Bring The Noise" is a close 2nd.

Wow, maybe not the best songs ever but here`s two of my favorites:
"Something" by the Beatles
"The Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin

Stanglehold- Uncle Ted. May not be my all time favorite (would take too long to narrow it down to one) but that song kicks ***.

Really? It sure looks like he'd put on a hell of show. Have you ever heard any of the music that he did with Meatloaf singing lead and Ted on lead guitar? Awesome stuff.

Not the best ever but it's my favorite song pete rock- flying (warning it's hip hop. No not that shake your booty bs, real hip hop when it use to be good)

jimi hendrix / (red house) in my opinion the best song ever!

I was gonna chime in with Redhouse too, but you beat me to it. I just love the way it was recorded, it sounds like it was cut on some OLD equiptment and just sounds so vintage!!! Geof
