Hi guys,

Looks like a great board and group of fellow enthusiasts. Just bought this 68 Dart GTS/340/4-spd from a guy who has owned it for 15 years. He's virually gone through everything on the vehicle. I'll post pics when I get the vehicle back here. I'm towing it home Friday.

I'm not new to old cars. I have a 65 Buick Electra 225 convertible and a 67 Ford F250 4X4. I also spent time as a kid (High School) wrenching, rebuilding starters and alternators, then worked in a Corvette body shop until graduation.

Welcome aboard. This is a great board with a great group of guys and gals that have a ton of knowlage and experience. Don't hesitate to ask anything and post some pics when you can. By the way...Boston huh, you a Red Sox fan ?

rebuilding alternators and starters, huh? Some old style wrench work, there! Welcome aboard!

The car also has the stocker rims with dog dishes. I was thinking of swapping back....no? I kinda like the sleeper look.

Not ok?

Cragar's look awesome on 67-69 Darts.

See........... LOL
That Dart looks sinister in black! Best of Luck with the car, and welcome to the board.

welcome to FABO..nice Dart
Ever been to Atlantic Canada, we are not that far away and we have the largest car show in Canada here in Moncton, usually 2nd weekend of july.

leblanc,

I did a 1900 mile/9 day run to Nova Scotia from Boston riding my BMW GS. Drove around through NB, but short cutted from Digby to St. John on the way back. We got burned out from too much saddle time.

Stayed in Cape Split (Blomidon). What nice country! Also went to Halifax. Had a couple of sarasparillas just below the Citadel here:

and visited the maritime museum. I wanted to see the display of the WWI explosion in the harbor.
